What Free SEO Chrome extensions are you using?

What sort of SEO Chrome extensions are you guys using on a daily basis?
I prefer SEOquake, Moz Bar, Nofollow and QuickSEO by ranksignals. Really great extensions, I can figure out the SEO strength of a website in seconds.

But still, I would like to have even more helpful tools, so care to share!
By the way, any of you still using Firefox?

I’ve put together a list of 16 browser extensions I consider to be the best. I encourage you to give a few of them a try.

1. Mozbar - Similar to how Ahrefs has their SEO toolbar, Moz has the MozBar. Without having a Moz subscription, you’ll be able to get some helpful data about each site you visit. MozBar will give you access to Moz’s metrics, PageAuthority, DomainAuthority and Spam Score. You’ll also get page-level share counts.
2. Ahrefs SEO Toolbar - Ahrefs is one of our favorite tools for both backlink data and content research, but it also has a very helpful SEO toolbar.
3. Majestic SEO Toolbar - We use Majestic a lot for accessing backlink data, like Moz and Ahrefs it has a helpful Chrome Extension.
4. SEO & Website Analysis by WooRank - This extension can give you a good snapshot of elements to improve on your website.
5. Check My Links - If you ever do broken link building, you need this extension
6. Domain Hunter Plus - This extension can also be used to identify broken links. However, it was made for a very specific purpose: to find expired domains that already have backlinks and authority.
7. SEO Quake
8. NoFollow - NoFollow firmly detects and outlines no-follow tags and no-index meta-tags on webpages. You may not need this plugin as most of the SEO plugins highlight no-follow links. However, this is my personal choice.
9. Buffer - Buffer is an amazing tool for scheduling social media sharing. You can set it to share a certain number of posts per day at specific times automatically.
10. Pocket - In a field such as SEO, you always have to stay up-to-date if you want to be seen as competent. That means you have to read a ton of content on a regular basis.
11. Evernote Web Clipper - Evernote is primarily a note-taking software, but it has since become well known for its image editing software Skitch. Skitch lets you quickly annotate images, and it’s a tool I often use to annotate images for blog posts.
12. Bit.ly - A big part of your job as an SEO revolves around links. Bit.ly is arguably the most popular link shortener service. It lets you shorten URLs quickly, and it even lets you track stats such as the number of clicks a link got.
13. LastPass - How many accounts do you have on different websites? For most SEOs, it’s a ridiculous number. Instead of having messy and unsecured spreadsheets or text files of user names and passwords, you can use LastPass.
14. Ninja Outreach Lite - Ninja Outreach is a blogger outreach tool that is still fairly new to the market but has been progressing fast thanks to rolling out new updates frequently.
15. Link Grabber - Using Link Grabber, you can easily extract all of the links from any page on the web. Links appear in a new tab as a list and can then be copied, and pasted into a spreadsheet or another tool.
16. Grammarly - Grammarly's free writing app makes sure everything you type is easy to read, effective, and mistake-free. Adding Grammarly to Chrome means that your spelling and grammar will be vetted on Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Tumblr, and nearly everywhere else you write on the web.

If you think there’s maybe an extension that you’re creepily in love with and I have missed it, don’t hesitate to share it with us!

Thanks for sharing this with us as you included some very good ones. I will be checking them out as well since I do not use a good part of them. Grammarly is one of the best for me, and so is Bit.ly.

Well yeah, but there are a lot of apps and extensions in the Chrome Webstore. I want to know what other SEOs are using and why. Tested and recommended stuff is always better than installing random add-ons.

Let's not forget the SEO main purpose: conversions!!! Many people forgot it and they are happy to have a good "look" in SEO statistics/reports plus some untargeted traffic...

I don't want to have a good looking report for my own websites. I want all the information I can get my hands on about my competitors!
Besides, all of my clients want reports on their competitors, I agree that they tend to focus too much on this part, but what can you do? Their paying, I'm doing.

I was using Moz Bar and I was using Firefox, this is before my laptop went in for repairs. I am now mostly using Chrome but I haven't gotten around to downloading Moz Bar yet again.

Cristian which one out of that list do you like using the most?

Hi Cristian thanks for your nice question. I do not use any SEO Chrome extensions on Google chrome. Rather I used some SEO add ons Firefox. And I always prefer SEOquake for simply and easily to research all SEO factors. I never see such type of free add ons as like SEOquake. You will find many more details SEO fact in this simple and free add ons. For example: all error report and at a time you will see how to fix it and they suggest also refer site to get idea. Simply awesome SEOquake. Besides, I used webrank toolbar as Add ons. It is just quickly guide me all statement as for SEO facts.

Ok SeoGuru, here is what I've kept from your list:
  • Ahrerfs SEO toolbar - Don't know what why I didn't have this. Just so cool, as everything ahrefs, big fan.
  • Check my link - had this in the past, forgot it existed. Easier than using screaming frog sometimes.
  • Link Grabber - Cool tool, may come in handy, I'm sure of it.

I also wanted to use LastPass, but no point in overloading my Chrome with extensions, I already know all of my accounts and passwords.
