If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

Let's "play a little game".

If you got $15,000, to spend on whatever you wanted, to grow or expand your business, to rent an office or any other thing you can think of, what would you do? Only Business Related.

I would personally invest everything, perhaps in two different projects I believed in, if I got good offers. A $7500 investment on each thing. Hopefully I'd be able to profit on these and I would invest my profits too, until I reached a total amount of about $75,000 on each project. I wouldn't invest that amount on my own business or in myself in any other way.

Don't ask me for the reason I would continue to invest until I reached $75,000. It's just some crazy fixation I have. I can't explain why.

What would you do?

Only $15,000? I would invest $12,500 into websites and try to grow my existing websites. I will invest most of the money into new websites and invest small amounts of it into my existing websites. The remaining $4,500 will be put into the bank to earn interest and used for emergency.

I normally use my investment to grow my business or acquire more profitable projects. I also like to put a part of the money into the bank so I have cash for emergencies or future profitable projects.

Money is the key to earning money so I always recommend people to re-invest rather than putting the money into your pockets.

Oh that would be nice If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related) I have always wanted to go bigger. But my time and money is very limited, so most probably I would consider trying to set up a business that offers more than just content writing services. I would need to have people with other specializations work with me, so a significant part of that money would be for wages. Since it would not be enough to open a physical office, I would have to retain the business online, but I would invest heavily in advertising locally because I feel there is room for such services here.

I would probably expand my PHP script business. I wouldn't neccessarily invest in other startups, or businesses but rather invest into myself. I would also upgrade my website to it's full capacity, and probably update the designs of the PHP scripts. I would also purchase some form of advertising, either via Facebook Ads, or Google Adwords.

I will then, if it makes it profitable hire more programmers to create more scripts, and have a large database full of different scripts. I think I could then profit enough to keep this system going. I've always wanted a successful PHP script business, it just seems like it would be really fun.

How would that work? People would pay you a membership fee each month and have access to all the scripts or would they just pay per script?

Probably both actually. I'll probably sell most scripts for under one hundred dollars, and then offer the one time fee as well to give the customer a choice. To either buy one script or have access to all the scripts. Not entirely sure how much this one time fee would be, but it'll probably save the customer a lot of money.

This got my mind going for sure! I would take this $35,000 dollars and i would buy 4 Antminer S9's at 12 TH 1300 watts for a total of 48 TH at 5200 watts. I would make about $4,300 a month gross $3,900 Net profit, That is a return on investment in about 5-6 months. I Can fix these machines myself and i am almost 100% sure i can keep them going profitable mining one currency or another for 2-3 years. I Would take this $35,000 and turn it into $38000-$45,000 over 3 years. Then i would likely invest that again, Until im making 100,000 a month or more.

If I had an extra $55,000 to invest I know exactly what I would do.

I actually have a website that I'm gaining funds for as we speak so I'll talk about that one, without giving the niche away of course If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

I would take $5,000 of the $55,000 and invest it into programming the back end of my website as well as the scripts that run the majority of the functions within the website. I've talked to a few of my programmer friends and they say that everything can be done for $6,000 to $5,000 so I guess I'll shoot for the high end. The design is easy because my partner can do all that. I would throw $5,000 to my designer even though he'd probably just do it for free. I'd pay him $5,000 because I'm a nice guy and I don't need all this money to launch my project If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related) Keep the partners and employees happy and you'll never have to worry about another thing online If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related) So now I have the design and programming done, all I have to do is do the marketing and bring in the sales.... But Wait! I'm a full time online marketer and can get this done pretty easily lol. I already have 2 lists of websites that could use my new service. My first lists contains 300 websites that are already using my competitors services which cost twice what I plan on charging and the second list is 10,000 other websites that could benefit from paying me for this service If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

So now I have the programming, coding, design, and interested leads all done. I would now set up my contact form software and run it to contact the two different lists. I'd run each list independently so that I can send different emails to each of them. This will get people to switch from my competitors and also bring in people who didn't know about the service and want to use it If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

At a 1% sign up rate I'll have at least 100 websites using my services. I'll be charging $55 for a basic membership and $120 for a premium (most people will sign up for premium because they get a load of perks If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related) ) Now remember, I've only spent $5,000 of my $55,000 lol. I'll take the remaining $12,000 and push it into PPC campaigns on adwords, facebook and yahoo/bing in order to get even more sign ups If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

So by investing just the first $5,000 of the $55,000 I'll be making $5,500 to $6,500 a month and with the additional $12,000 I could bring in a huge flood of traffic and those people sign up at a higher rate than 1% If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

I've already broken down all the numbers multiple times and it's pretty accurate.

Anyone wanna give me $5,000 or do some programming and design for me If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

You've certainly got your plan all worked out Razzy! I love it!
I especially loved what you said about rewarding the people that work for you even though you don't have to. I believe if you look after people they will be loyal and look after you... well if you choose the right people, sometimes you get lazy bones and that won't work at all will it?

yeah, I've gone through so many people over the years and now I have a pretty good team If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related) I always look for people even though I have a team ready for anything. I still look because you never know if someone on your team is going to be busy when you need them. It's always better to have 2 people that can do the job just in case one of them is busy If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

I've probably worked with 1,000 people over the years and I weeded all but 15 out. Those 15 were the best of the best that I worked with and I know they can get almost anything done. They don't really know each other because they're basically freelancers for me. If I were to win the lottery I would buy 15 houses all near me and start an online business that could dominate any niche If I Gave You $10,000 What Would You Do With It? (Business Related)

And then the sky would be the limit! I could be available then, you know for the right price.

I don't know a lot, but I am very teachable and I would love my own house.... wink wink.

But seriously I think a lot of business owners don't give their employees enough credit and treat them badly and then they wonder why they have such a high turnover of staff.

I have learned a lot from my father. I worked with him for 10 years on and off. He has a highly successful engineering business here in South Africa. One thing he told me once was that if an indispensable employee has to come and ask you for a raise when one if clearly due, you have failed as an employee.

He has had some of his top guys head hunted by opposition companies but they tell my dad about it and they don't leave.

Loads of his employees have been working for him for over 30 years. My dad's very first employee is still there.

Umm I'll take $3000 and invest in Razzy's plan of action for a return to be discussed in private LOL

I would invest in my current websites and start outsourcing some of my work so I have more free time to work on my marketing and plan of action. I usually feel like I am just winging it most of the time but I don't have the time to just sit and see where I am and where I am going. I just deal with what has to be done right now without getting the chance to look any further.

I would spend part of the money in learning some skills such as graphic designing, and the rest and one thing I have come to realize about learning new skills on business are that it can never depart from you. I will also try to establish some companies that deal with making clothes for ladies and gents with the last technology in the industry.

In the olden days, the first thing that will come to my mind with that kind of capital is to put up a boutique. I had a failed boutique business before and it was due to the lack of capital that I had to borrow money with high interest rate. Even now with the digital age, I will still go for a boutique but for sure it will be an online store of clothes, footwear and accessories that can be delivered to your doorstep.

I would use it to open up a small offline food manufacturing business and on a new foodie blogsite. I've been planning to open up a small meat processing business making hams and sausages for years now. But I always run out of capital, so if ever I get $15K I'll start this business right away.
