It may be happen if there is imbalance of water in the body. Thus we should take water every day regularly.

Drinking a cup of warm water in the morning can heal your body by aiding digestion and preventing premature aging.
“Physicians recommend drinking warm water in the morning, usually, with a polyphenol-rich lemon immersion, or with a tea shown to decrease free radical activity in the body,” Stella Metsovas, clinical nutritionist and media health expert in Food and Nutrition Sciences, told Medical Daily. The consumption of warm water increases the tightening of the intestines, which optimizes elimination. Unlike hot water, processed cold water is devoid of many essential minerals that could become very unfavorable to the digestive tract when consuming a meal. For cold water drinkers, Metsovas recommends refraining from drinking 20 minutes before eating — even if the source is natural spring water.

Perhaps I can say I am an authority in this subject matter. No, I'm not a urologist nor a nephrologist. I am a patient. In 1995, I was discovered to have kidney stones which was hurting my lower back. It was removed by the procedure called lithotripsy where the kidney stone was subjected to sound waves which crushed the stones. Later on, the bits of stones flowed out together with the urine. In 2001, 5 years after the removal, there's another build up of stones in my kidney. I had the second procedure. And in 2006, another occurrence.

The urologist said that the diet is the primary factor for the body to build up stones in the kidney. I admit that my diet is salty hence the formation of stones. Take note that our bodies are not the same, if we both have the same diet, I may have stones and you may not have. Anyway, with diet and herbal therapy, it's now 2017, that means my kidney stone is 11 years old already but is not bothering me anymore.

It could be gallstones. This could be a serious condition based on your health and how long you have had this pain. The best advice would be to visit a medical personnel as quickly as possible. A thorough check will save you from further pain or consequences in the future.

Usually stones like kidney stones or biliary stones, appear due to multiple factors. We can say a number one is because we don't drink enough water, if 60% of our body is water and we don't replace the one we loose, then we will get dehydrated and electrolites like sodium or calcium will deposit in those places. Another cause is the excess of eating some minerals, like calcium, if you consume more than what you can handle, obviously the extra will be saved or deposit somewhere, and that somewhere might be kidney or biliary ways.

In our body we have calcium, phosphate, nitrate and oxalate. And these combinations are on acceptable level. And if they are not then they tend to form the crystals of those stones. And in this case you may have to make sure that stones are dissolved. If not then this may cause the bladder pain. And the stone may take longer time to get it out of the body. That's one reason i'd suggest you to make sure that you are taking care of stone as early as possible. So you have to take all those things into considerations too.

Sometimes we eat too much sodium, calcium, and other minerals, if we also drink few water, then all that excess of minerals will deposit in the filter organs, like kidneys, bladder. That's why we have to drink a proper amount of water, avoid excess of minerals, and check ourselves with a physician at least once a year, to make sure everything is good.

Yes potato chips has lot of sodium and so does the burritos, Doritos and other fried stuff. I have found that most of the junk food contributes to the health issues. And people don't want to leave that part though. They just want to live in the moment. That's how it works out in many cases as of now.

That's true, almost all the junk food is full of sodium. You can find that canned food, fast food, ready to eat meals, are using sodium as a way to preserve conservation for long periods of time. So if we have sodium from other sources, we don't need that big extra those meals are giving us. The bad part is that those meals, are the preferred ones, because they save time and usually are the cheaper ones.

Yes. Also the coffee. That has known to trigger stones in many. You also need to avoid the beer and other alcohol. Sea food to some extent also triggers the stone. So you have to be really be careful of what you are eating. Not to waste your time and money on things randomly in that case. I guess we have to think about stone diet based on the diagnosis.

Well, besides diet, I have to tell you that also depends on personal genetic disposition. I mean, some people tend to form stones more than others, is like a genetic way to metabolize calcium and sodium. So, if your family doesn't have a medical record of stones, you can be in some way more permissive with your diet, but if stones run in your medical chart, then for sure you have to be extremely careful with what you're eating.

Agree. Metabolism if becomes slow and we start to gain weight. That can affect the stone formation too. The stone formation becomes lot quicker. And it can make things a bit complicated. So keeping weight in check is very much important. I'd be surely keeping that in mind.
