Sometimes, music makes me sad. So I try to only listen to happy and upbeat music, rather than sad songs. Is it the same for others?

Sometimes it seems like there's nothing that can lift that shadow weighing on your soul -- until you hear that perfect song. Whether it's the lyrics, or tune, or combination of both, the restorative benefits of music is astonishing.

I think music has that capacity to make us feel good. And that can add upto managing our soul. I think many people who are hurt inside have that issue. And those who are struggling with life have that problem too. So many apps and the systems that allow such soothing music are healing the soul. Because we deal with lot of life issues and healing can be done wiht music and scenary.

Music has been impacting countless lives since the history of music. Music makes you happier, improves your health, enhances performance, lowers stress, helps you sleep better, reduces depression, elevates your mood, the list is nearly endless. Music was there for me when no one else was. Many people (including me) have an emotional connection with music and find it soul cuddling. Music has always cleared my mind, healed my heart and lifted my spirits. Music is medicine.

Song by Oasis! It touches me everytime, it's so catchy and at the same time the lyrics are pretty good! Legends indeed. I've been binge-listening their songs for around a week now, I have them autoplay in youtube while I work, it helps me relieve stress and at the same time if just feels nostalgic for some reason.

Most definitely music is critical to the human psyche. People can hear music when there are no instruments and they can't sing a note. In the sounds of nature. In a dropping water faucet. I think that musical wind chimes are so popular in homes.

When I was a student, I had a transistor radio of my own. Music was my companion when I review for an exam. Music is always there when I am alone. Even when I was in bed, the radio was pressed on my ear for the music. No need to say that music soothes my aching heart. Expecially when I was gifted with a cassette tape player, I could choose the music and it was great when I was having a problem with my friends. In other words, music is like a salve that can calm and pacify me.

Yes definitely. Music is the soul of life. Music has healing powers and abilities. Especially if you select an appropriate song to match your mood, listening to music when you are sad, and stressed can instantly make you feel better. Babies while still in the womb can hear music when you play soft soothing classical music.

Hi, I guess that music has an effect me when I am angry, it calms me down. But not when I am sad, in such situation it would make me even sadder! When I have such mood I prefer to stay and calm down myself without music or anyone near me!

When my smartphone was quite active, I was a lover of music and enjoys listening to both local and foreign songs for I believe that music is the food for the soul. Music relieves us of the pressure of life and enables us to live a better life altogether, so that is the reason I enjoy listening to music.
