When the day won't end soon enough

Some days seem to drag and others fly by. I don't know why this happens, but it seems that bad weather days go slower than fair weather days, when you can move around more easily outside and indoors.

What will you do no a day that drags along and doesn't seem to end fast enough?

Maybe you are just overworked or exhausted. Get your mind off work for a few minutes. Surf online or check your messages on Facebook. Play a Facebook game for a minute to relieve tension. Or, call a friend and talk. Any of these things can help the day pass faster.

I'm not sure why this happens. There are days when I'm at the hospital, and no matter how busy it is, the days just drag on. It feels as though you put in four hours of work, only to see that only an hour has gone by. Maybe it the frame of mind your in that day, or because of your co-workers.

There was several days when we would have three admissions, and two discharges to deal with, mixed in with your morning care and duties... And it just seemed like time stood still. UGHH!!! How I hate those days!

Time flies when you're having fun. And, it's true. If you are enjoying your activity, then the day will likely pass faster. Work can't always be a joy, but you can usually find something in your day to enjoy that will take the edge off and help you pass the time until the work day ends or your job is finished.

This is your body telling you it's time to take a break. Once you feel lethargic and tired for no good reason, take some time off work. Do something you like to relax, Have a cup of chamomile tea, watch a TV series, make a sweet snack. Or just go for a walk.

I experience boredom even in the office when the task that I'm doing is unpleasant or difficult. Thinking of the day's end makes me suffer more. Would tou believe that Candy Crush can soothe my mind in times like that? Of course, I can't play in the office for it is not allowed. I would go to the rest room and relieve my mind of boredom by playing that app for 5 minutes. It never fails me.

In terms of weather, that's actually a matter of perspective. The cold, rainy days actually go by faster for me than the fair weather days, because I generally prefer the atmosphere. That being said, the best way to make your day go by faster is to just have something to distract yourself with. I find my day feels like it's taking the longest whenever I'm bored. On the other hand, if I have plenty of work to do and my mind is constantly occupied with something, I start feeling like there just aren't enough hours in a day to get everything done.

I think a slow day is noticeable on boring days.I don't think a day can be slow,I just believe it boredom that makes us want the day to end because if you're having fun or busy, you believe the day is fast. This is all in our head because nothing changes,it still 24 hours a day but what we do determined that.

I think when you don't have the goal then surely you'd feel like day needs to end soon. And that's where you have to change your approach. You have to make the most of every minute. That is the attitude that keeps you from being boring. And that's how you should approach the life. I think you can prioritize your life in order. And then take actions in such way that you can get more out of that. It always helps your life in that way. Most of the working people become less lazy when they keep things in order.

You are right on the goal because that is the motivating factor especially at work. Sometimes when I feel down I would think about having a job and realizing that I have goals in life that I can achieve because of my job. Maybe we should always remember to be thankful for what we have. As the saying goes, count your blessings. I agree to that because counting your blessings is also a good motivating factor.

Yes when we have goals we dont know how the days are running by. Because we spend more time towards the goal. And another thing is that goals have their own set of the limits for us to run through. So depending on that front I'd say that we have to focus on the things that would make us stronger towards goal so we can then focus on day spent towards it instead of watching when it ends.

Fast days or slower days are just things of the mind. I don't seem to understand the reason people say some days are long while others are short. What I have come to realize that those people are lonely in such bad days and it makes them feel that those days are quite long for them, which it is not.
