Random domain redirects...

I was doing a few minutes of random domain searching - ended up looking for

justyouand.me

and out of left field, feeling as though I had just been sodomized by a rick roll - I am redirected to the zietgiest official youtube channel? o_O WTF Zietgiest, you really need to hoard a domain like justyouand.me ?? Shame on you

oh and if anyone has a similar story to share or knows of some other funny random redirects, please share here Random domain redirects...

Random domain redirects... See that is what kills me... Whoever owns that domain is out of their minds for not doing anything with it. I don't even need to look at the stats, but I can only imagine how many times the keyword string for that domain is typed into google every month... LoL and there it is - sitting there doing nothing - with a WHOIS Protection enabled so you can't even contact them.

In heinsight though you should try to contact the WHOIS email for the user - and make them an offer on it - Ya never know who is sitting on it, could be some kid that has no idea as to what its worth and you could get it for pennies... I have done that plenty of times... And thats not to say that I advocate taking advantage of people at all, because I dont, but in all fairness this is the internet business & when it comes to domain purchasing / selling - if you are sitting on a premium domain and you are not savy enough to know at least microscopically what it is worth - and you sell it for 5x less than it was worth - well, that is your fault not the person who bought it.

Its like the story Sean Parker (justin timberlake rather lol) told zuckerf*ck in Social Network, about the guy who invented Victorias Secret - Sold out for 4 million and next year his company was worth 100 million... And i am sure he even had a team of attorneys around him trying to protect his interests, and he still was taken... So it happens every day...

Let me know if you try to contact them I would love to hear what they say about selling ;) If its cheap enough Ill buy it if you can't afford it and we'll build it together, hows that sound ;)

Be Well,
