    How long does a domain name transfer take?

    Let's say you need to transfer a domain name, how long would it take before completion?

    I've seen as much as 12-24 hours, more than that I would call support immediatley

    Depends on tld. Well for example there are tlds that cannot be transfered and so on. In popular tlds it takes minutes up to a day or two

    Transfer it to another registrar? It depends on the registrar and you. Most require verification and domain transfer password which you need to submit. Verification is usually just a link sent via email to the domain admin on file.

    After all that is complete, it takes 24-48 hours.
