    Have you used Google Groups to get out the word about your site or products? Have you been able to integrate Google Groups with your Google+ and Facebook marketing campaign? What's your experience using this site?

    And, is Google groups considered an email group, much like Yahoo Groups? I don't want to sign up for something that will just spam my email account with useless emails.

    Facebook groups are a much better choice as the site is more established and most groups have thousands of members. If you are looking to promote yourself to a group, don't bother with Google groups. Get on Facebook.
