Don't just post links and run off. Take time to retweet relevant posts and talk with others who respond to your tweets. As always, Twitter is a 'social' networking site, so it pays to be social. And, that's true even if you are a 'professional'.

Tweet often. Don't tweet funny stuff, as your readers won't find it as funny as you do. Be truly useful with your tweets and keep your reader's interest in mind.

When you are sharing on twitter or any other social media sites, there are two important points to consider
Write a teaser
use hashtags
Your teaser should not only introduce your post to the readers but also increase curiosity. You should use hashtags that properly described your content. hashtags will improve the visibility of your content.
