1st of all you need to confirm whether your hosting provider allows it or not.. If yes then you can create subdomains by logging into your cpanel. it will simply create your subdomain.domain.com.

I didn’t know that creating a sub domain would depend on the host provider. Do you mean to say that you need to ask their permission before you can create a sub domain to your site? I thought the sub domain is just an extension of the site and has nothing to do with the server of the hosting provider. But maybe the sub domain will need to create a separate folder in the database.

Go to your cPanel account. Look for the tab that says subdomain. When you click the tab you will have the option to create any sub domains you want. As long as you have a good diskspace ad unlimited bandwith, creating any number of subdomains will not be a problem.
