    My thoughts are that SEOs (Search Engine Optimization specialists), link buyers, webmasters, marketers, and anyone interested in a site's value will often look to the Google PageRank when trying to quickly determine the importance of a site.

    Every site owner uses search engine optimization techniques, even if casually. And, that's true, as many bloggers simply publish high quality content and rely on readers and other blogs to give organic (editorially given) backlinks. This is still SEO, but a more natural kind, which is preferred by Google. It's not something that every blogger or site owner can do as it takes much longer than going out and manually or automatically creating backlinks.

    When I was blogging I was relying on the contents because the readers of my blogs would come back maybe because the content was interesting to them. Although I was promoting my blog with one post in Facebook for a new blog, I don’t think that is substantial to get the big number of readers that we desire. But now that I have learned SEO methods then I could probably get more readers than before.

    When I first encountered the term SEO, I just ignored the discussions about it because I didn’t know that SEO work is all about derivative traffic. When you do SEO work then that will make your website gain a foothold on the search list results. When a user makes a search that includes your website’s link then he may click on your link and that is derivative traffic. Think if there will be hundreds of searchers each day that will click on your link on the search list?
