What does a PR0 mean?

I have a couple of new sites that were recently updated with a PR0. None of the sites really have any back links aside from links from my own network of sites. All of the sites are indexed in Google and if you search for their brand name, they get the sub-links on the page and the site is the top result.

I don't think I have any kind of penalty but I hate the fact that it shows a "0".

PR doesn't really matter for some time now as much as people want it to matter. It's updated daily, but servers with PR data for general public just get updated once in a while. So, no worries - I got 2 fresh websites that got from N/A to PR0 and I couldn't care less.

PR is only good for selling links because people rather buy PR3 backlink with no traffic than PR0 link with tons of traffic.

It doesn't have anything to do with Google penalties.

I'm guessing the PR0 just means there are no links with high PR?

At one time, PR was a mark of authority and excellence from Google. But now, it's less valuable when it comes to actually earning money and getting traffic. Just focus on making your site interesting for your visitors and not so much on what your PR happens to be.

Just means your passed the N/A stage, but not a PR1 yet. What does a PR0 mean? I agree with what has been said in the above posts about it not really mattering, a lot of people just like trying to improve it, but honestly, having a website with high PR wont really get you anything from it as PR is nothing to do with traffic, and traffic is what gets your website earning. I would much rather a website with high traffic, but no PR, than a website with high PR, but hardly any traffic. What does a PR0 mean?

PR0 is one step ahead in page rank matrics, the first is NA, 0, 1, 2 etc.. higher the better.

It is assumed high PR websites are good, you will need it when you are going to buy or sell links.

Also could mean that there is good PR links out there pointing to your website and they just haven't been indexed yet. What does a PR0 mean?

A PageRank of 0 does not always mean a penalty. Sometimes, websites which seam to be penalized simply lack inbound links with an sufficiently high PageRank. But if pages of a website which have formerly been placed well in search results, suddenly show the dreaded white PageRank bar, and if there have not been any substantial changes regarding the inbound links of that website, this means - according to the prevailing opinion - certainly a penalty by Google.
