Bing has failed?

Do you think that as a search engine, that bing has failed? I feel that they have. I just do not think that they are as successful as they could be.

I do not like it so I would not care if it did fail. However I know that there are many that do like Bing so I would not say that it has failed.

I did the bingiton.com test and picked bing 4 out of 5. I think they are gaining search share and in many cases, better than google. Google is such a strong brand, it is hard to compete.

I agree with you Robertman. It is hard to compete with Google and no one will ever be as good as them I do not think.

I would not say that it has failed. I do not think that it is as popular as say Google but it seems that it is keeping up pretty well.

Many people seem to like Bing though so I do not think that it would be a complete fail.

Google is very strong. It would be hard to compete with them in anything. I don't think that Bing can ever win against google.

Google is more popular and has a higher marker share than Bing. However the market share of Bing has also been increasing. This is mainly due to the Bing Rewards which is encouraging more and more people from the U.S to use this search engine. There would have been a higher increase in the market share if the Bing Rewards were international.

I remember the time when Bing was launched. It was promising and according to the promotional items that I had read, it was poised to grab the top spot in the search engine industry. If we will base the performance of Bing against that promotion then we can say that it has failed. In fact, Yahoo Search has even a higher ranking in Alexa than Bing. If only Bing had pursued the Bing Rewards for all users then it can probably give Google a run for its money.
