    Would you include a phone number on your Google Adwords?

    Assuming you are targeting a local audience in a specific city/state, is it smart to include a phone number or address or other local contact information for the local search engine user?

    This could be useful for a restaurant or a local store that is using Google Adsense. Having directions in the ad or a link to the Google map would be good too.

    I don't even know if this is allowable for Google Adwords, so you would need to check with them first.

    I have never used Adword to promote my service and products. However, I use Adword to do keyword research. I check out what kinds of keywords the advertisers are targeting and why kinds keywords are trending. If I have to something to sell in the local market, I will certainly use my phone number. Phone is the easiest mode of communication and every effective as well because commnication happens in real time. However, for business purpose, I will have a different phone number.
