What is the best way to get traffic to your site? What technique do you use?

I believe the "best way" would be by having unique and quality content and building backlinks. I'm not into backlink building since it takes forever, so I purchase services for that. I promote my website on twitter, facebook and on different forums.

Exactly, as you would be building links you would be getting traffic at the same time you would be optimizing your websites too.

I would suggest you try Facebook posting. It is free and easy to do especially if you have a lot of friends in you Facebook account. All you need to do is post on your timeline about your intention for your friends to see. Check for their reactions so the next post would be improved. But limit your posting frequency to once a day so it will not be annoying to your friends.
