Generally I wouldn't want to pay more than $3 per 1,000 impressions. Or .10 or less per click.
If you look enough in the right places sometimes you can find some really great deals like:
250,000 impressions for $75 in your targeted niche.
Something like that is a much better deal (as long as the placement is good, and doesn't have 10 other advertisements on it) It does depend on the ad placement, the size of the banner, and if there's a ton of other advertisements on there or not. Generally I wouldn't want to pay more than $1 per 1,000 impressions. Or .10 or less per click.
