    How often can you email your list?

    What's the optimum number of times to email your subscriber list? Do you email daily or just once a week?

    There's no optimal number because it varies on niche and marketing approach. Bloggers in general send emails 1-2 times per week. There is a period of about 30 days when emails come up every 1-3 days because those are autoresponders - pure moneymakers.

    If you don't care much about quality of list, send emails every day. But this way you will need to collect new emails all the time fast because spammed emails get unresponsive and lose their value.

    Email marketing is all about relationship building. Don't overwhelm your email subscriber list with too many emails. Experiment constantly. Your list might respond better to just one very powerful email weekly. Or, they might need more intereaction with 2-3 emails. What you put into each email is also another factor in how often you can mail. Send more useful tips and helpful how to information for your niche than you do promotional emails.

    it depend on what you are emailing? If it's just a newsletter, that would only come out maybe once a week or once a month. If it's a site update, such as for sales or discounts, that would come out once a week. For advertisements, you could space those out so your list doesn't get spammed.

    If you have a newsletter about daily freebies or discounts, then you would have to send out a mailing daily. The advantage of daily mailings is how you will always be in front of your subscribers, so they are not likely to forget about you.

    emailing your list about 3-4 times a week is ok and you must post unique high quality content that will be beneficial to them. emailing everyday may force them to unsubscribe and they may see your email as spam.

    What is your niche? Some niches such as the freebie/sample sites will mail out emails up to two or three times a day as news becomes available about offers. The same is true for retail sites. Just mail however often you have news. And, if you are mailing once a day, keep at that as your subscribers are already in the habit of receiving your daily email. Don't slack off for anything or they will get accustomed to receiving fewer emails and then you will never again be able to mail so often.

    i go with you skylaroux,. it helps to keep your subscribers updated about the latest info in town. i also agree with the number of times a week to avoid them banning you for spamming. good one.

    I get some emails regularly from sites that I assume have my address in their email listing. More often I receive emails from credit cards, banks and airlines. I consider them legit emails because the subject is somehow beneficial to me. But if I would receive an email every day from a credit card company then I will consider it spamming and I would probably block the subsequent emails.
