My Affiliate "Ref"? Where Did He Come From?

So i just got a new affiliate that signed up under me, on the "Ref" for him, it is a Google Search. Does this mean i got this affiliate because he searched a term on google and found a page with my affiliate id attached?

I didnt think affiliate / referral links rank good at all in search engines My Affiliate "Ref"? Where Did He Come From?
What would be in the Ref part on an affiliate that comes from my affiliate store?
Would it be " http://www.lowcostseosolutions.com/ " ?

The affiliate links should now redirect properly so you shouldn't see them in the SEs any longer. Prior to that, they would have ranked and you could have generate affiliates from them.

If you don't specify a ref or use the Google URL builder parameters, the ref will become whatever referrer is in the browser (if one). It should be your affiliate store if from there. I suggest you add the REF or URL builder params though, for better tracking.
