    Which social networks are best for writers to associate with each other and get links out to their written content?

    Facebook groups might be the closest thing to a social network for writers. So far as I know, there are no social networks other than groups devoted to the art of writing.

    I'm an active writer on Hubpages and it pays very well. They have a nice built in community for authors to associate with each other.

    Are you using BubbleWS? For awhile, I earned $15 a day there, but more recently they have restricted earnings.

    BubbleWS used to be one great place for writers to hang out. But apparently, it's been shut down. Other alternatives are Hubpages and Literacybase (although I heard there's also been some major changes in how you earn and so on).

    I was a writer on Bubblews. Bubblews was not a social network for writers, instead, it was a micro blogging site (all you needed was 400 characters). I am also on Hubpages, which is not a social network for writer instead it is a writing site for freelance writers.

    Facebook has got groups that writers can join and from there harness their writing skills. I joined a few and with the contest that they ran on them, it helped me to become a better writer as well.

    I am a part of many writing groups on facebook. I am also on forums dedicated to writers. A simple google search will give you an idea about sites for writers. By the way Goodreads is also a great website for writers.

    I really don't know if there's a social media platform dedicated to writers. Anyway if there's none, then someone should start making one.
