Increasing Adsense CPC

I have seen that different domains can affect CPC. I.e if the same site is put on different domains the CPC will vary.

Is this due to the domain name or the host (i.e godaddy or hostgator etc...)?

Is is worthwhile to invest in a high CPC domain (if there is such a thing?)

Any other tips?

I agree with anwebservices, that domain name won't change CPC.

CPC depends on:
1. Visitor Country
2. Traffic Source
3. Content Quality

Thanks for the info you shared. I am also asking the same question for our blogs to earn more in Adsense. But it seems that we are doing just the right thing because you had mentioned quality of the content which is paramount to use. But I need to check on the traffic source because I am not familiar with it yet.

Adsense CPC depends on a variety of factors including;

1) Origin of site visitors (US,UK,CA,AUS users bring the highest CPC in most cases)
2) Your Niche for example Insurance Niche has higher CPC as compared to gaming niche.
3) Type of traffic (organic traffic usually gets high CPC ads)
4) Type of ad unit (some times Media ads have higher CPC than text only ads)

The list goes on. I suggest do your A/B testing to know what works best on your site. Being adsense publisher requires a lot more than just putting ad code on your site. How you optimize those ads is what makes the difference between $15/day and $75/day.

I have just started learning this cpc thing and so far I think the content you put using high cps keywords will gradually increase cpc of adsense . Google adsense is very smart in detect content if its unique or copied . Always go for unique content and search high cps keywords using tools online most common is google adword and semrush although semrush is paid but its very nice .
For domain always try to get a domain according to your niche because its easy to promote very few got lucky with bogus domain name and got popular so always go for high authority domain and close to you niche also you can try estibot.com before purchasing a domain to get a little searching idea for your domain name . Never go for unique domain name like your name or anything it will be very hard to get traffic on . Domain name should be regarding niche getting traffic will be much easier .
