Have a time to only do work. Do not get on FB or make phone calls during this time. Just stay on task and it will all work out.

Work without the interruption of a phone. And do not answer them if you do have them or do not text because all this time adds up.

So much easier to work when you are not constantly having to respond to friend chat requests on Facebook.

That chat notification noise can be very distracting, that's why I keep Facebook off during work hours.

Exactly. This makes it rather hard because you often lose a thought when you think oh I will just quickly message them back.

Look at your list of jobs and make a schedule for each day based on what you have left to do. This will organize your time better so you can get more done and not suffer distractions.

Have set working hours where you only work on clients stuff. And also take breaks if you get flustered because then you may be able to come back to something that you are missing!

This idea usually works for me, though I'm usually having to stop on occasion to prepare lunch or take care of family. Working at home has it's advantages of being near family.

Do not dilly dally around when you work. Focus on the task at hand.

At start of each day highlight the three or four most important things you have to do in the coming day. Do them first. If you get nothing else accomplished aside from MITS. You have still had a pretty productive day.

I have tried out this idea and it really works. Just thinking through what needs to be done before the work day starts (such as when I'm just waking up, getting tea), helps me get focused for my day. Then, when I get down to work I'm ready to tackle what's ahead.

I normally start out with the easier tasks to get lots of work done provided everything isn't any less priority than the other.

Work at night. Nobody bothers u and u cab actually get stuff done.

I, and a couple other Users on this Site work for 40 hours straight. Then sleep 8.
Then do it all over again.
work 40.
Sleep 8.
Work 40
Sleep 8.

I personally have been on that schedule for almost 3 years now ( ever since I joined SC)
Obviously, there are good reasons for me to have to do this. But I hope to be free of it one day.

Eliminating the easier task is often the easiest to do so you can get a lot of work out of the way.

There's a fine line when your "working faster", as you want to ensure you're not rushed to such point that it ruins your quality of work. Having longer deadlines on your tasks help with this, as you can focus on, not only the bigger assignments, but on your smaller ones as they come in.

There's more to life then working and sleeping. If you are doing this, then perhaps you need to look over what you are doing. If you're not giving yourself any free time, how is that going to effect the quality of your work down the road.

Working online in combination with working part-time at the hospital, gives me the freedom I want AND deserve.

While you work make sure you are free from all stress and make sure that you stop your inner voide to disturb you while you are working for dedicated period of time ..As your inner voice in 30 -50 minute will say lets now watch tv or eat something and as you follow it it will get stronger and will not allow you to work effectively..
