Hard to please customers

Did you ever get a hard to please customer who was not satisfied with your gig no matter how many changes or exceptions you made? How did you resolve the situation?

I have not had gigs but that must be terrible to go through. Some people are hard to please no matter what.

Yes I have. You need to stand your ground as long as you did your service correctly. Some people will give you a bad review or bug you constantly trying to leech everything they can out of you. Don't let a timid nature prevent you from providing great services or even doubt yourself. Theirs always going to be that one unruly client. Smile and be thankfull for all those nice customers. ;)

Offer a reasonable amount of edits. Adjust your service slightly to suit the customer. But once the customer becomes unruly and hard to deal with, just click the cancel button as they are not worth dealing with.

You will find more customers later on who are willing to act more decently and possibly pay more money for your expertise.

I have only really had good luck on here with my buyers. I have never ran into many issues that we can not work out together.

It's good to be surrounded by nice people that you can work with. I have been in some situations with hostile buyers. Not here but elsewhere and it was not pleasant to deal with. I left that place though and have not cared about it since.

I have only dealt with friends and family so far for freelance projects and everything was more like mutual collaboration. I don't just work on a project and turn it in at the end without customer input. The customer is involved along the way at certain checkpoints. Though again, as I said before, I don't like customers who micro manage, though it is helpful to have them along for the journey.
