Just small things like disagreements between warring members. Every forum has these issues, but you mitigate them in the best way possible without banning or warning anyone as all forum families argue on occasion.

These little 'brush fires' are huge distractions from work and zap all my work time and then when they're dealt with, suddenly there's no more work day and it's time for dinner and bed and amazingly no more dramas.

Shut out the distractions or learn to live on less income. Those are your options, as there is no way to deal with distractions and still do the job you are required.

This happens to me a lot, only because I work from home. If I was working on a job site, there would be no such daily dramas around the house to deal with and then I would get so much more done.

Little things that go on in my full time job. I get texts a lot about little situations that others want to tell me about or want advice on.

Yes I feel that when you are working at home you have much more to deal with because it is so tempting to want to solve them and then go back to work when in reality you should just keep working.

Well on my days off from my full time job I have to schedule appointments and such. It cuts into my free time as a freelancer.

Sometimes, this is just a sign of procrastination which can happen when you are over worked or not looking after your own personal needs. You might feel compelled to slack off by focusing on other things than work.

Most people only work 8-10 hours a day at a regular job. But, often when you freelance or work at home, you are expected to work all day and night until the job is done. And, that's unrealistic considering most people require breaks for their own health.

Yes so true. I have to have breaks every so often or else I end up getting crabby!

Taking breaks as you need them is good for your health and you'll always return to work feeling refreshed so you can get more work done then.

And yet all that is a distraction and at the end of the day you haven't done all your work. So you lose out by not getting paid soon. Then what good did friends do wanting help? Social time needs to have a place in your life, but not when you have to work.

Watch out for these situations as your friends are being distractions, even if they are not trying to be. Then again, some friends will sabotage your work, knowing you should be busy but asking you to come hang out.

I've had to deal with this situation before, where a friend will drop by and say, "I'm not interrupting your work, am I?". And, of course, they are. So, for my family's sake, I have to wrap up our social visit quickly so I can get back to work, rather than just cutting my work day short just to chat.

Daily drama 1: Explaining how "make money online", "marketing services" and "lost weight fast" aren't low or medium competitive keywords and 3-digit budget for that is like going to a Porsche store with 100 bucks.

Daily drama 2: Explaining why 10 quality backlinks is better than 1000 spammy ones.

This pretty much sums it up. Frustrations of dealing with petty dramas as a freelancer

Unruly clients who say they want one thing and then turn around and want another after you have delivered the finished product. Not just annoying, bad for business.

And, at the end of the day if your work is not done, will your friends lend you money to pay bills? If not, then ask them to postpone texts until after work hours.
