Order seen by seller - Give you votes!

Hi Clerks So finally i'am here with a solution for the "no reply from seller on the order page" i think it's a good solution!

As you have already aware of a feature "seen at xx:xx time" on facebook, where we send a message and we get this outcome when someone sees our message right?

So why not to implant this on order page?

When seller check the order page at the same time the buyer get a custom message on the order box "This order is seen by the seller at xx:xx time, don't worry he will be working on your order, stay tuned Order seen by seller - Give you votes!"

Check the uploaded image for more information, i think this feature provide buyers a satisfaction that the order is seen by the seller!

Order seen by seller - Give you votes!

So how's it? Let me know your thoughts!

Others may feel different about this feature in general but I myself I never liked this feature being added on Facebook(even though I hardly use it) so I would disagree here also. When it comes to Facebook I think it's a privacy thing, there's so many different reasons you'll read a message and not reply straight away and yet whoever sent it clearly knows you have saw it. Depending on the message context this will only make that friend/person annoyed/angry/whatever else because you have seemingly ignored them.

In Seocheckout I see this translating to sellers checking orders, not updating at that time and then getting angry buyers when they notice their message was seen and not responded too even though normally they would not have seen that and have it lead to that.

If a seller doesn't offer proper communication in the first place then in my opinion it's not likely this indicator will change that but in fact just make buyers angrier at those particular sellers.

Karoshio

It also happens on mobiles too, well it does on my iPhone, I am at work or something and I get a message, I quickly open the message to check it, but don't have the time to reply, so will reply at my break, but soon as I opened it (and didn't reply) they get a message telling them. The first thing they usually say is "You ignoring me?" or something similar because they saw the alert. This is just a simple social example, but yeah, I agree that if it was added to this the clerks website it could lead to angry / annoyed buyers seeing the order was seen, then keep sending "Are you there", etc.. messages, which could then also lead to an angry / annoyed buyer too.

So any other option accept this one? i think it just provide some satisfaction to the buyer that the hopefully the seller is working on his/her order.

Yeah, the problem is though, that this only tells the buyer that the seller has seen the order, it doesn't say tell them that the buyer has started the work. The question of "Has the seller started on the work?" is still unanswered even if this feature was added.

With @Sean101 objections with reasons, I have an idea, similarly to @sunil0021.
When there new order, they should be an option for the seller to tick "Seen and started work" or "Require buyer's additional response" or "Reject Order", required to act within 24 hours or else the order will be automatically rejected by seocheckout and issue a full refund to the buyer so that the buyer would know the status of his/her order and his/her will not wait blindly.

What do you think?
