How far is the deadline away? If the deadline is very close such as a few hours you could either request mutual cancellation or allow deadline to pass as said before. Though you will still not get your money back after the deadline passes unless you request mutual cancellation. So I'd go with that option as farahkhan suggested. when a seller does not respond

Can't you just send a message to the seller and ask him what he's doing on the service you requested?

Maybe the seller has started on the job and just not bothered responding.
If you cancel now before you message again then you will never know.

At least message this person before cancelling.

you can do a mutual cancellation if after 2 days or more, no response from him. do not do force cancel as andreasjordan said because it will give you a negative feedback and down your reputation.

i second carson, i bought some youtube comments from aseller, TAT was 3 days to delever, and he never replied to my my message, but within deadline he responded with complete order.

It's good that you did not cancel on him early then as he was already doing the job you asked. He must have been very busy with your order and orders so that he could not respond. Or, maybe a seller like this who does not respond is not good at messaging so he does not bother. Whatever the reason, you were able to get what you bought so that is good. when a seller does not respond

Some sellers receive an overwhelming amount of messages from their clients as well as potential clients so it becomes a daunting task for them to respond to every single one in a timely manner.

You can just leave him a message that since you are not responding and there is no way to know for you that you are working on my task or not so if I do not receive any reply from you before the deadline then I will have no other option but to go for mutual cancellation for this order.

Chances are that he might respond to this message. If he still doesn't then you know what to do.

leaving him that kind of message is surely a good idea, that may sprun him to look into your order and process it as quick as possible. i like that trick. but generally speaking, no matter the number of messages, a seller must try to answer them all afterall it will be to his benefit if he eventually get some orders from them.
