    Need rank suggestions

    I need some suggestions on how to rank up forum members. For instance, after how much time should a new member be ranked up to the first level, second level, etc?

    What's your forum about? If your forum has a niche, whether romantic or sci-fi or maybe even cooking, then look into words commonly associated or used by people in that niche and create your rank suggestions.

    It's nice to have a ranking in the forum but sometimes it is a drawback when members become jealous. What I would suggest for ranking is it should be based on several criteria. First is the number of posts. Second is the length of tenure in the forum. And third is the substance of posts. It is more appreciated when the rank is based on those criteria instead of basing only on the number of posts.
