    Did a hacker ever try to bruteforce (password hack) your site?

    This seems to be a very common thing with hackers now, trying to bruteforce or guess passwords multiple times. How do you protect your forum or site from this type of hacking?

    Many forums get bruteforced. You need very good forum firewall and maybe even site protection offered by your host.
