Our site is up for a "popularity" award, which means we need to collect as many votes as possible.
The voting goes like this:
1) User goes to an URL, enter his/her email to vote
2) User receives email and clicks on the confirmation link
3) That's it - the vote is counted and you get a confirmation on the web page
You need to have access to email accounts from different domains (or one catch-all account per domain).
Note: when you vote, the browser seems to save a cookie, so the confirmation link needs to happen within the same "session", i.e. cannot be triggered with script in an anonymous browser window.
Bottom line is we'd like to test with about 1000 votes for $150, but we'd let the market decide the price!
