What is the meaning of blackhat actually?

Hi I have hired a person to do my sites seo. He told me that he is gonna do blackhat seo for my website. I don't know that is it safe or not for my site. I need to know what is the main concept of blackhat seo.

Well, blackhat is sort of short cut to destination! ;)
It is not as useful as white hat, but most of the times it surfs the purpose, and yes i take far less then time then white-hat way.

There are two kind of seo.One is White hat seo and other is black hat seo.Black hat seo means a aggressive way for get your website ranking increase.But it is not right way.So you should not use Black Hat seo.

Back hat SEO (it's a type of seo which is conducted by boots, not search engine spiders friendly) results are great but they are not long lasting.. Also google doesn't supports black hat seo
