    Does Adsense site on gaming a good idea?

    I'm very much into games and I'm considering setting up several websites for games which are released soon. This way the (SEO) competition isn't too bad yet.

    I did this with a game 2 years ago and it worked very well traffic wise (300-500 visitors/day). It just wasn't easy to monetize it, with adsense or otherwise.

    Do you think it would be worth it to invest my time in such a project to set up an Adsense site?

    yes it's a good idea since it really have power for clicks as gaming sites are mostly used by children and the do clik on ads you can try this for sure

    On my opinion is VITAL an accurate keyword research for to see if, a part lot of visitors, that topic get sufficient high level of CPC.
    Also, remember that "gambling" games (poker, casino, etc) are forbidden for use Adsense. If you prepare some pages with online games about poker and casino, even if you are not asking money to the people who want to play, can easily get banned by Google due to the gambling restrictions.

    I think that if you were able to invest a good amount of time to setting up an Adsense site you would definitely benefit from it. You would probably earn a lot of good income and a lot of notoriety for it but you just have to make sure that you are consistent with keeping it updated and keeping it unique to help get your site out there more! But I do think that if you can invest a good amount of time, you can do good with a project like that.

    Yes I think it's a good opportunity too. If you can place image ads with the game images/thumbnails, probably you may be able to get a good CTR. I have seen some sites doing these. Probably investing on it might be more profitable for you.
