I've been going back and forth on this for a while and wanted to get some real opinions from people actually in the trenches.
I run link building for a few sites (mix of local + affiliate) and doing everything manually is eating me alive. Outreach, guest posts, citations, indexing… it's easily 40–80 hours to build out one decent campaign, and half the links never even get indexed. At this point I'm seriously considering moving to automation software to handle the volume.
But I know automation has a bad rep from the old software / spam-blast days, so I'm trying to figure out what's actually safe and effective in 2026.
A few questions for anyone who's been down this road:
1. For those who switched from manual to automated link building — did your rankings hold up, or did you get burned?
2. Is anyone running a hybrid approach (automation for volumeinks)? How's that working out?
3. How do you handle indexing? That's my biggest pain point right now.
4. Has anyone here actually tried BacklinkTitan? I keep seein Google stacking, cloud stacking, and local SEO, and it looksinteresting, but I'd love honest feedback from someone who's actually used it before I commit.
