    Based in my experienced, I only use google keyword tool, traffic travis and majesticseo.com. First I put my keyword on google keyword tool then I chose exact search. You will see a lot of keywords related to your business and their respected searches per month. Then a find a keywords that has high searches then put it in traffic travis to see if the keywords has low competition. After you find low compettion keywords look that number 1 - 10 sites that rank on that specific keywords on majesticseo see their backlinks and how they rank if you can out rank them.
