How to ask for tips from buyers

Can anyone please guide me on how to ask for tips after delivering a service?
I have seen there is an automated option for buyers to tip a seller - how do I enable that for my service?

Tip is buyer choice, you cannot recommend anything but formally can ask with reply for tip if you think your work deserve tip.

Hi LordLoki,

To be honest, it's super easy to get tips, you just have to ask for them. And I know that might seem like simplistic advice. Just think about it this way. Once a buyer has made a purchase from you, then you're benefiting from the trust factor. If a buyer trusts you, then they're likely to buy from you again, not just tips, assuming you've provided good service in the first place.

On delivery, you can post a short but polite note to buyer:

"Hey, if you've enjoyed my service, please consider a tip as this helps me continue my freelance business". or for repeat business,

"Hey, I really enjoyed working on your project and would love to work with you again. Let me know if you need help with anything else."

If you're shy about asking for a tip or asking your buyer to reorder they will move on to another seller spamming their pm box with requests for money.

There's an old adage in life insurance selling. Your real competition is not other life insurance salesmen, it's the car dealer or boat dealer or realtor that's going to take that person's money before you can insure your buyer for what they are worth. The point is to ask for the money before it's gone.

You have to decide, do I want this buyer to spend money on me or someone else?

Thanks but that's not what I asked.
If you refer to the image in my previous post, you will see it comes in a pre-formatted version with fields to enter the bid amount.
However if I ask for tips in a text message, it will go just as a text.

Are you referring to a bug or glitch with the site?

Can you give me an example of an order number where you have asked for a tip in text? Or can you provide a video to illustrate what you meant? I can look into that issue for you and if I cannot find an answer I will refer your issue to our bug testing team.

Please refer to Order #5390094
There the seller asked me for a tip and I got this well formatted box:
So how can I present the same type of box to my clients?
Do I need to write something specific and it automatically converts into a box?
Or there are special buttons to ask for tipsHow to ask for tips from buyers

Hi LordLoki, thank you so much for providing additional explanation. That box is only visible from the buyer's side. The seller does not initiate that tip box, that is shown automatically by the system.

You can remind your buyers to tip but you can't present that box.
