Why "Niching Down" has created plenty of millionaires

There are plenty of SEO agencies out there doing pretty well for themselves, and sometimes it has to do with them "Niching Down" to pull in specific clients.  This doesn't work for just SEO agencies; it can work for any B2B business, and even for B2C sites, you might be running.  Think about it, how often do you land on a website that is about one specific thing, and you think, "How is this website successful?" well, it's because they are targeting a specific niche and not spreading themselves too thin.

When people start getting successful at blogging and making a full-time income, it's usually because they're passionate about a specific thing, which is them niching down. They don't even realize what they're doing.  You can take this model and run it for any business you want; you need to do the right research beforehand, so you know what you're getting into.

Know what you're good at and stick with it
Most of the time, you can set up a website and target whatever you want, but that doesn't mean you're going to be successful.  One thing you need to understand is that over time you will get bored of a niche if you're not interested in it.

You need to have something that pulls you into the niche, other than potential profits, or you'll burn out before you start to see any success.  This type of work takes time, not as much as a difficult niche, but you'll still need to be invested, and that means you should pick something you already know or are good at so you won't burn out in 6+ months.

Become the main brand for your niche
This could become difficult if you're targeting massive niches, but it's not so tough if you have your mindset on something with low to medium competition.  I would suggest targeting lower competition niches at first, so you get a good understand of what you should be doing and upgrade from there to target medium niches.

You'll likely want to run various websites, in dozens of niches, but that time will come after you iron out all the little things and have a well-flowing business model Why "Niching Down" has created plenty of millionaires

You don't have to turn away customers
If you're specific to a niche and get someone looking for an item or service you don't provide, you don't have to turn them away!  You can talk to them about it, refer them to specific places through your affiliate links, and still get a commission if they sign up for the service you recommended Why "Niching Down" has created plenty of millionaires

I know you might be selling something on your website, but you wouldn't have gotten that person to sign up anyway, so why not get an affiliate commission out of it at the end?

Finding your niche doesn't have to be difficult
Like I mentioned above, you need to have some interest in what you're doing, and if you don't, you could burn out pretty quickly.  I would suggest starting in a niche that you're familiar with, something you already have a vast knowledge of, and get into blogging or start service around it.

This doesn't have to be SEO, web design, social media marketing, etc.  You can write about "Mountain Boots" if you knew a lot about them or write about "Indigenous African Tribes" if that's something you're more familiar with.  The more knowledge you have now, and are willing to obtain, the better you'll be in the long run.

Final Thoughts,
When you're doing something niche specific, you will want to know who your competitors are even if you're doing this for fun.  You want to know what they're doing, how they're getting traffic, and what they're doing to make money in case you want to do the same thing later on.  Start working with something you're familiar with so you can churn out a lot of content early on and update your website gradually as you learn more about your specific niche.  You can sell to people early on and build your sales gradually if you stick with it over time and become the authority you know you are Why "Niching Down" has created plenty of millionaires
