By taking a small time like a 10 seconds and the website name with title- can be effected for the radio lovers and radio listeners. There are huge people in this world who run local radio and who hear the local radio songs. So certainly there your website address announcement can make you popular.

The effectiveness of the advertising would depend on the type of your website and the kind of radio station. We have here a radio station that plays old music and understandably their listeners are the seniors. If your website is about health or pension or anything related to old age, I guess that radio station is one good place to advertise your website.

I don't think radio ads will be too much benefit to a website. However, if you advertise your website on a radio program that is very popular among the listeners, you might have some visitors. There was a time when I followed a certain radio program. When the radio jockey began talking about a certain website, I took interest in this website and checked the website. I did not find this website very useful, though.

It can very effective if radio is one of the core means of reaching people or Communicating to people in a state or town. If alot of people in an area listens to the radio then advertising ones website on it will be effective because a lot of people will get to hear about and try to find it out online.

I remember my cousins who live in the rural area. Their only source of entertainment when we were young was the radio. I used to hear them sing the advertisements on the radio whenever we meet in family reunions. But times have changed and I think the radio has a very little share in the percentage of the public because the tv and the internet have taken the majority of the people.
