What's a good Lottery Plugin for WordPress? And Seocheckout Lottery Anyone?

Anyone know of a good lottery plugin for WordPress?

I'm trying the WooCommerce one but it requires WooComm and doesn't have numbers selection. I'd prefer a more of a standalone one if possible or a WP plugin option if it's good. Anyone have any experience with this? Setting up a lottery website of sorts?

It's for a client. Ideally they want people to go onto the site, click to play the lottery, choose their numbers and submit them and pay for the ticket or tickets and all of that malarkey. Winner notifications etc all built into the site like.

I had a quick search but need to dig deeper just thought I'd throw this one out there on here for now just in case.

PS. Just had a brainwave. What would you think of an Seocheckout lottery? Or some kind of prize draw competition?

They could make it official, do it all legit and that. Sell it as a $3 dollar service as entry and then a winner is announced at the end of the week or something. Where there's different prizes depending on how many numbers you guessed.

You could use the blockchain for it too and write all the winning numbers and other statistics to it. That way you could use the blockchain to show the winning numbers, prizes, winners etc.

That's just given me another idea actually. You could sell a service on here for say $3 and people who purchase could win a prize at the end of the week or something. I wonder if that would be allowed?

Prizes could be like, a free service or services up to a certain value. Or some other bonus SEO or something. To even just cash prizes, discount codes, redeemable coupon codes? Even physical gear branded Seocheckout mousemats and keyrings etc What

Would you play? What

Thanks in advance for any help or pointers anyway cheers!

Mike

I don't play lotteries, it's all just wasted money, but if you want to deal with something like that you most likely will need to create the plugin yourself from scratch so that you get all the features you say you need. Doesn't sound like a very complicated system though, so I'm sure that you could find some entry-level programmer to do it for you freelance.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any other than the lottery plugin that you mentioned in your post that works with WooCommerce. I'm surprised that there aren't any lottery plugins out there for Wordpress really, because you would think that it is something that would have been requested quite a lot by users.

You could always try and develop your own plugin. It shouldn't be too difficult if you have some basic knowledge of programming and how Wordpress works.

I think some people would fancy the opportunity to play such lottery using WordPress plugin, personally it looks interesting to me as long as the services offered would make sense to players.

As you are still looking for plugin on WordPress to start up such lottery, maybe I would take out time and research about it and get you a valid feedback in no distant time.

I was actually looking for a lottery plugin to run my own sort of raffle that would give out "100% of the profits" to the winner. Now, my plan was to keep 50% because that's how much it costs to run the website and business, then give the additional 50% out to the winner What It sounds shady, but that's how a lot of "nonprofits" actually work. Look at GoodWill, the CEO is one of the richest people in the world because he makes a huge amount of money from his "nonprofit" lol What

The Seocheckout lottery would be pretty sweet. One way of running it would be to have a list of X3 or higher services throw their hat in the ring to offer a free service to the winner(s) of the lottery, which would help build their clientele, and the winner(s) would have a pretty complete SEO and Marketing campaign for at least 1 month. Now, there wouldn't be just 1 service in the lottery, you could have 5 or 10 paired up nicely to build a complete campaign for anyone who wins, and there could actually be 5, 10, or even 20 winners depending on how much the service providers wanted to give away What

Another way to do the lottery would be to fund the winners account with $XXX, which wouldn't be able to be withdrawn, and it could be used to buy whatever they wanted What Now, if that way was chosen, there would need to be security measures put in place because the winner could set up a service on a different profile and use the lottery winning profile to purchase the service, then transfer 80% of the lottery winnings to their account. Having this type of lottery is a nice draw, but you're really only attracting the people that would want to take advantage of it.

Also, hi Mike! What

I really wouldn't know but I hope you find one if that is what you want to do. It sounds like an interesting thing to do, and it is something that isn't done all the time!

I love your ideas Mike why are you not one of the admins on this site?
I mean you really deserve it and I would definitely vote for you!
I'm one of few people that actually have that bonus system on my services
but Seocheckout on It's own doesn't have something like this which is disappointing.
We really need more new things here, it would make everything better on this marketplace.

Maybe it would be a great refreshment (for the mind) if there is a sort of lottery in this site that members can bet coins so it will not be accused of gambling. What about 10 cents per ticket? There is one forum that has a lottery of that kind and my husband had won twice already. I think the prize was less than $10 for a month because not many are betting. But it was a nice feeling to win.

That woo lottery turned out good for us, it's Woo based (we needed that since payment part and orders were allready done with Woocommerce) and has pick ticket feature.
