    Google Drive help please

    I have never used Google Drive & can't access the files to a shared link I just purchased. Any help would be much appreciated asap. Thanks

    It seems like your question is not clear. Are you asking for the download of the content in the shared link. What exactly are your trying to achieve. Because we don't know your scenario. And it can be harder to explain something we don't understand. So please explain your scenario.

    Can you provide photos regarding your situation? The owner of the files (if the link was sent to you) may not have set the proper permissions on who can access the file.

    If you are trying to access a file from your Google drive account , you might wanna login first on your account and share it with your google account via certain app like Microsoft office excel or PowerPoint. Basically you have to login to google drive in any device that you want to open the file. As long that you have the account verified on that the device sharing and saving is likely to be easy.

    Also it would be better if you can elaborate more a detailed situation of your problem...

    If you're using Google drive in downloading a big file and you can't access the file and the file won't download then theres a problem with the file you're downloading usually there would be a prompt. What is the prompt saying?

    Cant access the files on share links means -I am not clear.Google drive is a free storage facilities from google for their worldwide user and when you upload any file on google drive-after the successfull upload you will click on the roght button of the file- than you will get shareable link. Cooy that.

    It's simply something to do with the permissions on the sellers end. You will need to contact them since they have most likely not set the permissions properly so that you can access the content on that shared link

    I cant really place my head on what you are trying to ask, but as long as I am concerned, I think the first thing to do is to update your app, which in this case is Google Drive. If nothing happens afterwards, you may likely get a new account and try to see if it's working.

    You need to have a Gmail account and login into Google drive, you will see where to upload files and sharing files to your friends.
    If you get links from other people then you need to have permissions from them to access those files.

    I think that the question we should throw at him first should be if he has a Gmail account because it's the first step to having access to a Google drive. Without having a Gmail account, it's useless trying to access anything on Google drive.

    I think once you are signed into google, you might find the information that you seek. It is not clear to me what you are trying to do it google drive. It should be easy to access.

    Check if you are properly logged into your Google account because that might be the problem why you can't access the Google drive. If you are sure to have logged in properly, and still can't access it, then I would suggest switching to using a Google application to login instead of doing it through a browser.

    In addition to that, I also think the other problem is even if he successfully access the email, there might still be no files in the Google drive account because he never saved them there in the first place. He just mentioned about never using it before.

    You may be right about this, well I haven't seen the posters response since. Maybe he has taken care of the problem or probably having network issues which prevented him from being online. But I really hope some suggestions here helps him with the problem.

    I am able to access Google drive with my Gmail account. I sometimes choose to move or keep my files in Google drive and this makes it easier to access them from anywhere just by logging in my email.

    Ever since I lost some of my pictures and files to virus attack on both my laptop and phone, I learnt to upload all my files, photos and documents to my Gmail account and Google drive. This way, such documents and files are secured for life unless tomorrow Gmail shutdown like Nokia ovi mail.

    having a google drive account is simple as abc. Wants you own a gmail account then you can access virtually anything on google drive, you store your files and recover them anytime you want, you can also share to people.

    Google drive is very easy to use. Just do a simple google search for the problem you are facing. I love using it because it's connected to my email.I also work on google docs. I like it because it saves your work as you work. You don't have to worry about your computer crashing, or in case life internet goes off or the lights go off. If you look on Youtube you can find many tutorials on google drive.
