    I would advice against any services like this, because you're just going to send you botted traffic via proxies. In the best case scenario they manage to make it seem relatively legitimate, in the most likely case they'll ruin your statistics, bounce rate and even SERP standings because you'll get caught by the search engines.

    You might not like it, but the only paid traffic that's worth is is directly from the search engines themselves.

    As the others have said, you may just be getting generic traffic that has no real interest in your product. I just think that you have to be careful when using traffic services so that they have a genuine interest in your product and are not just there to meet a quota.

    I believe paid traffic is only good for site with affiliate program or programs that needs leads or sales which still doesn't help much.

    If you have AdSense on your blog be very careful, not to get caught or else you will be risking your account.

    I don't think that paid traffic would do much help for your site to be honest. I think the best thing to do is to focus on different strategies and methods to gain organic traffic. Organic traffic is so much better because the users that visit will actually want to view your site.

    Very true. Sometimes paid traffic can be useful to maybe pad the numbers a bit but most of the time if you want your content seen, which is probably the aim of most people who want traffic on their site, there really is no two ways about it and you just have to find a strategy to funnel in some organic traffic. The good news is that most of the time you probably won't be spending all that much more on either option but maybe the strategy for finding organic traffic just necessitates a bit more thought.

    Negative and positive responses in regards to the type of traffic... Time for me to add my two cents!

    While we are unaware of the type of traffic the discussion creator wants, whether it be botted, or real traffic, it is none of our business. Therefore, there is no need to bring up bad services and traffic bots.

    I would strongly recommend that you create a Want to Buy with all the details about the type of traffic you want to send to the website. Full details of everything, so the freelancer knows exactly what you want, and if it is not what you want you can cancel the service, and get a refund.

    As idealmike already gave you the link to the traffic category, you should browse there or create a WTB.

    My personal suggestion would be you take approach for PPC Ads. For example adword traffic can be very much real and dedicated. Also you'd be able to understand the performance of the ads immediately. So that's something to learn from the traffic as well. You can see that there are facebook ads to learn from as well. I have personally found out that these two work far better than any other online service which offers traffic.

    You could try buying traffic or just pay some local ads that link to your site. A good strategy you could use is to find some local websites or popular people on social media in your area and have them advertise your site. Sometimes you could even contact some blogs and ask them for prices on how much you would have to pay for them to leave up your banner for a few weeks or months.
