Have you thought of being a blog trainer to earn?

I see a few people here and in other blog sites who can post flawless and really high-quality contents. I learned quite a number of tips and styles even I'm just a newbie. Still, I want to learn more in a deeper sense. I know there are ready materials online for learning but it's really different if I do have someone who's all hands on me.

I've created e-books basic SEO and how to write search engine optimized content, but that is as far as I'm willing to go in terms of becoming a trainer. I also have a blog in my native language focused only on SEO tutorials and SEO news.

The next natural step for me would be video, but I don't do well with videos or even with voice recordings, I don't like doing them and I don't feel comfortable. Maybe if I would insist and push my boundaries a little I can achieve "trainer" status in a few years at least at a local level, but no, I prefer writings and doing SEO for the most part.

As for learning resources, there are plenty of ways you can self-teach yourself new things online. I suggest checking out HubSpot, start their courses and get their certifications, you will learn a lot about digital marketing and even how to write content.

I definitely understand you when you say you are not comfortable with video or audio. I am the same way! However, I firmly believe that if I was comfortable with video and audio then I could possibly increase my sales. However, since I do not believe this is ever going to happen (maybe I should not say ever) you will most likely not see me in any video or audio.

I think I am just scared to get my face all over the internet in a video format. However, audio doesn't seem that scary because you are not in front of a camera with it turned on. I wish I was very photogenic, and did not care about being in front of a camera because then I would be a vlogger on Youtube and would hope that it would pay the bills.. LOL.

But for the time being, I am going to sit in the comfort of my own home, behind my tapped laptop camera, and just be "behind of the scenes". Possibly we both will get some courage to be in front of the camera? If it happens for me, I will let you know... but don't bank on it.

Sounds like you are suffering from a form of stage fright. As far as I know, the only real cure for stage fright is to get out there on the stage.

I still remember having to teach English the very first time to a class which only understands Mandarin. My Mandarin was rudimentary but I had no choice. It was sort of like do or die. So I did it. And I didn't die.

Since then I have done a radio programme teaching English, using the Thai language for explanations. That was fun. I used disco music to add some oomph to my programme.

Now I am teaching English via FB Live, using both Malay and Thai to explain the interesting and intriguing peculiarities of the English language. The first broadcast was quite a mess. Now, I am doing alright.

So my advice to you is to jump in. You won't drown. Maybe swallow some water. But you will survive. Go video, friend. It's the trend now.

My blog is not a successful one. However, I can learn how other bloggers could do well in their blog by copy and paste their style. I changed my background and side bar widgets. Another important thing is interacting with the people who comment. You can read those successful bloggers who teach people how to revamp the blog. I doubt there are any trainers here.

I think I can give random tips of what worked for me and what does not work these days. But that's as far as I can go with this. You can see that some of the time being trainer in this context can be really hard. And people who are trying to get as much lead on this as possible don't find it much usable. I think being trainer requires a lot of effort. And people ask many questions. You have to answer in their context. That's something I don't think would be easy most of the time.

I feel the same way as you do here--I could give some tips and help speed things up for people by showing them not to make the same mistakes as I did when I got started, but I am not sure anyone would be willing to pay for that kind of advice. I am still learning about how to manage my own blogs, myself. There are also vloggers and youtubers who give out a lot of free advice on how to blog. In any case, I could use some training for my own sites, especially in terms of how to get people to just click on my darn ads!

Yes I think as we learn we can pass on a lot of knowledge. And that can also add up in terms of the mentoring. But the paid mentor-ship is something we have to really struggle and work hard on. So that is what needs to be considered on the better point. You can see that people who get trainer are addressing some of the specific points about blogging or working online stuff. I guess that's the part I have yet to reach.

Creating an online training to help beginners in blogging and earning online or even doing traditional business is my ultimate goal. That's why I keep on studying and learning from successful bloggers/writers, successful businessman, or online entrepreneurs by reading their works and subscribing on their websites. I also purchased online training modules to speed up my learning. Hopefully I could do this someday.

It would be, but at least personally I wouldn't like the idea of teaching content like that because I feel that there's too much subjectivity in the whole ordeal, and to just teach the basics I couldn't go much deeper than "just write well", lol.

I would probably do better as an editor, giving out detailed reasoning and feedback for written pieces instead of doing it from the scratch. That's also one related field for people with writing background might, and often do, look at.

Yes, I've thought about it so many times (because I think this idea is just great) but unfortunately I've never had much time left to dedicate myself to it in a proper way.

I like to do things well (and helping people is something I value very much), so... Doing them halfway or wrongly done is not an option for me.

I don't think that it would be that great a job because of how much content is available online for newbies. All you have to do is a quick search on Google and you can literally find hundreds of articles about how to start a blog and how to develop it well. If you do not like the online content then I'm sure there are loads of people here that will be happy to help you out. Do you have any specific questions?

That is a very good point. Why would you pay someone to train you about running a successful blog when you can easily just Google it? Google is a lot of people's personal trainers, assistants, teachers, etc. Google is free too. Now if you Google something and you end up at a paid content website, where you have to pay for courses, or ebooks, just search again until you find high quality free information.

I learned to program via Google, believe it or not. I took no courses or classes, and just learned through my mistakes, and I would never ever go back. This is one of those skills that is hard to learn, as it could take years. I am very glad Google helped in the process because I have been able to make money on the internet by selling my PHP scripts. Google really is your friend, huh? I believe so.

I never heard of something like a blog trainer. I mean I think most mentors offer their services for free, unless they are trying to make a buck in which case they will offer classes or eBooks or something. I wouldn't be able to be a blog trainer but it is certain that some people here could.

Yeah, I do not believe a blog trainer is a very good job. Yes, surely there are tons of blogs out there but you can learn all the information you need to know via Google. I also do not believe there is a market for such a position in the real world of the internet. If someone is a blog trainer or coach, would you be willing to disclose some details to us? However, I do not believe there are many.. and if there is they probably do not earn that much and have a full-time job anyways.

I thought the exact opposite to be honest. Most mentors try to make money so they won't offer advice or services for free unless they are trying to build their business and attract more people to buy their services. I haven't heard of a blog trainer either to be honest but I'm sure there are people out there that are offering eBooks or online training courses in order to help people improve their blogs

There is a huge industry of those folks. If you check for blog coach and blog mentor on facebook. You would find plenty of pages and groups. And those groups and pages are going to show you a lot of variety. You can see that such trainers have no clue either. But they are into this type of busienss. Not sure how that one goes though.

Another word for this would be 'literary mentor,' or 'blogging consultant.' Where you offer your services to people who are looking for help with their blog or online sites - so they consult you for advice or tips. I think as a consultant you can make a good amount of money. But you really need to have a large cache of knowledge and have been blogging for years upon years, in order to charge the necessary rates for your services, advice or knowledge.

People who want to be blog trainers obviously need to have a very successful blog first. Then maybe they could do something like teach a Udemy class for instance. It is just one of the ways you can succeed in this market. I think there are people who might pay to take a class if your blog has a great deal of revenue, and you can prove it.

I think it's too childish to think about becoming a reference when you yourself don't have something successful to prove your value in the market. It sounds kind of rude to talk like that, but that's the way things work.

Well yes of course. I mean would you take any kind of class or look at learning from anyone in an authority position if they didn't have a certain degree of success in the field? Most people are smart enough to look at someone's credentials before they plunk money down money to be trained, not that leaders or trainers might not exaggerate or lie.

Yes, earning as a blog trainer has ever been my online aspirations. As a trainer in my circular job, the passion of training others, bringing the best out of others as well as motivating people has been built in me. I derive maximum pleasure in imparting knowledge across to others. Now, I have been blogging for the past ten years with lots of innovative ideas gained out of blogging. I currently manage and run about 25 websites and blogs altogether and make money from them daily.

I don't think that a blog trainer is important. It is not difficult to start a blog. You have many articles about blogging available on the internet. I am here since a few months now and I have learned quite a few things about blogging through the community discussions. You also mentioned about quality content above. I think that it takes some time to become a perfect writer. If you feel that you can't write for your blog you can hire a freelance writer. I believe that if you want to do something then you will find a way.

It can be saving your time though. So blog mentors can tell you which things can be waste of time. So some of such tips can be really valuable. And you can get things in order on that context. I personally think have noticed that some coach and blog trainer can be really handy. They stop you from wasting your time and energy and direct you to the right set of the business ideas. That's something can be worth respecting.

A "blog trainer" is no different than any other business coach, or any coach really. Even top performers need and use coaches. It is not that they don;t know what they are doing. It is that they need someone other than themselves to keep pushing forward. Top performers are typically those who are the most knowledgeable and most self-motivated. So, instinctively, it seems like having a trainer or coach is counterintuitive. But, it is for that very reason that they seek out the guidance of an another professional.

I think top performers need to be top to begin with. Some of the time sports coach may not be the sports people on their own. And that could cause or more or less of an different issue. So you can see that blog trainer too requires more effort to establish as mentor. I agree that trainer is often the one who motivates and guides. But if he is not motivated himself then I am not sure if this is the right business for that person.

Of course, they have to be self-motivated. That could be said of any type of trainer or coach... a personal fitness trainer, a business coach, a sports coach, or a life coach. It just means that one has to be careful hiring one.

Like you, I didn't really need any training. I am pretty good with blogs at the moment and everything I know about blogging was learnt through experience with blogs. I first started having my own blog about 9-10 years ago and I have gone through a lot of different blogs to get to where I am now. I would think that you becoming a blog trainer would be a great idea. It would be nice to share your knowledge with others and earn something from it as well.

There are plenty of blogs and the youtube channels. So you have plenty of free help to begin with. So that is something not always needed. But then again the trainer is needed when you are going through the financial side of things. That being said, some of the time mentorship can be done away with. There does not seem to be one good framework which one can apply for their own self.

I didn't know this position exists although I guess these days anything can exist and if you are a top blogger you could do it and people would pay you for your information and experience. I don't think I'd be able to do it just because I'm not really a professional and mostly just do my blog as a hobby and I would agree with some of the posters comments here that there is so much available information out there that is free that it would be difficult to convince someone to pay for it but if there is some special information that someone has that is unique only to them and their experience then I could see why someone would still pay for it.

I started writing online regularly since 2010. I had a degree in creative writing and I had a couple of experience writing in the newspaper. However, mt online writing career was staggering until I attended a course on online writing and publishing. The course taught me everything about online writing, from keyword research to creative commons license to SEO and online marketing. I believe many people do not know how to excel as a blogger and I think there is money to be made by becoming a blog trainer.

If you are not sure and just testing the waters, then my advice is to start your blogging efforts using a free blogging platform. It's a lot of them out there. WordPress and Blogspot are the main two. But there are other platforms. If you screw up and get your blog deleted, write it off as a learning experience, create another blog and start all over again. Meanwhile join some forums or communities, like this one, and search the discussions to learn more, on your own. I subscribe to blogging experts who know the game. Daily Blog Tips and ShoutMeLoud, for example. It's free to subscribe and receive post notifications via eMail and their blogs are loaded with all kinds of advice. You could pay for a blog training OR search to find free blogging courses. It's up to you. The main thing is START!

Last month, I was already surprised to learn that there is an SEO specialist as a job. Yesterday, I have read about the SEO auditor which is another job. And now comes another job that of a blog trainer. I would love to be a blogger trainer someday because I enjoy teaching. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to be a trainer in our office formally although I train people under me whenever we compose a new team to handle a new project. Being a trainer is a nice job.

I'm not sure about this. someone on how to start a blog, the technicalities of starting a blog, so u can train somebody on how to do the writing itself. I think a blog is very personal and there is no particular format. You are supposed to right from your personal experience. Its like writing a journal the format is whatever you wanted to make it. I'm sure they are people who train in blogging, though I don't think it would make a difference. Sometimes you just have to learn by seeing other people do, in my humble opinion.
