    Why hiring a cheap SEO content writer never really works out

    An SEO writer is a special kind of person who knows how to type a great article as well as optimize it for the search engines.  These kinds of article writers are few and far between, because you can usually get someone who knows your native language and doesn't know SEO, or you get someone who knows SEO but has horrible grammar and can't type well.  Hiring a writer that can optimize as well as spin golden words of content will help you increase your rankings within the search engines naturally.  This is because they will write up your content in a way that it will usually entice people to come in and comment or share what you have on your pages.

    By optimizing the articles and content you're basically telling Google, and the other search engines, that you have some great articles on your website and what they are all about.  Google will then come in and do a sort of quality check on you content and increase your rankings if they deem fit.

    The main thing you need to remember when it comes to SEO content writing is that there are two obvious types:

    1. Good SEO Writing
    2. Horrible SEO Writing

    There isn't much of a middle ground when it comes to this type of writing because you're either doing it right, or you're screwing it up.  The content you place on your website will either help or hurt your rankings, it usually won't stay stable since it's every evolving.

    Hiring a bad SEO content writer will result in a few negative things:
    • Annoy you with all of the bad grammar
    • You quickly find out that the content is just spun from 20 other articles
    • The "writer" used Cyrillic letters to fool copyscape into thinking the article was unique
    • Hurt your rankings if you do end up using the bad articles on your site
    • They do the bare minimum on your article
    • The content didn't seem to be researched at all, making the article read bad.

    If the content is hurting your website you will likely notice a drop in organic traffic and possibly a complete ban from the index within Google, Yahoo! and Bing.  Trying to avoid a bad writer is never as easy as it sounds, but you can do it if you think before you click that "Buy Now" button lol.



    Look at it from Googles point of view

    They aren't huge fans of content that is blatantly optimized for increased rankings because the content is never really readable.  Meaning, it's tough to get through the content because there are random keywords or strings within the content making it almost illegible.  Google and other search engines want to offer it's users the best experience possible, and if you're only publishing top notch content, you'll notice some love from the search engines.  Many times writers will over optimize an article or blog post in order to get the top spot in the rankings for specific keywords, only to have it backfire and they actually drop off the radar.  This is because Google and the other search engines have become wise to their game and have taken actions to suppress the bad content.

    Algorithms written by the search engines are made to identify the bad content around the web that has a sole purpose of boosting a websites rankings within the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages).  The algorithms find black hat techniques such as keyword stuffing, hidden keywords using  very small fonts, blending content into the background of the page and purchasing high authority DoFollow links to boost your rankings.  If you're caught doing any of these, you will notice your rankings drop off the map because of a penalty you just obtained from one or all of the major search engines.  This means you're going to be saying goodbye to your organic traffic and some of your best sales.



    In Conclusion
    It's best to work with a high quality SEO content writer because they know how to write what you need and still keep it legible as well as please the search engines due to it being optimized.  Hiring a cheap content writer because you think you're getting a deal will likely result in a drop in rankings and more stress than you should have to deal with.

    When you boil everything down, the difference between a good and a bad SEO content writer is the creative work of writing. Optimizing an article for search is formulaic and something that is easily learned. However, crafting a well-written article that people actually want to read requires skill. It is more than knowing grammar rules or being a good researcher. You (the general you) need to be able to write for the audience, using their voice. Ulitamanly, what makes an article worthy of a good search position is being able to meet the needs and expectations of the search user.

    On the contrary, not all cheap SEO content writer have low quality of output. I believe that prices in the internet particularly with the writers have no standard yet that the costing depends on the discretion whether of the service provider or of the client. The best gauge for a writer is the previous work. From there you can evaluate if his writing is okay with your standard or not.

    This is probably true for a lot of things to be fair. It's not just for search engine optimisation content writers but things like paid posters and other service providers. It is just not a good idea to try and be cheap and get someone that is offering their services for really cheap. These users will make a lot of mistakes and you will end up being disappointed with the service that you received because it was just not done properly. It's always better to pay a bit more and get a service that you are happy with.

    Yeah, but people don't like to pay to get the best return for their expectations. They prefer cheap stuffs, almost everyone does, and it is really hard to see someone who is offering the same service at a lower price than the other person you bargained with. People love cheap things and I have really fallen victim of this.

    It happens a lot. People search for cheap things and they end up with the same results. This is why it's so important that we choose moderately priced services because they pose a low risk of failure and probably aren't overpriced. It's better to know what you're getting before paying.

    I don't want to risk anything and I will always choose the best SEO content writer. My friend once hired a writer for her blog and after doing a test with the writer she decided to hire him. She was largely disappointed by his work and had to work on the content again. It was both a waste of time and money. In my opinion it is better to hire an experienced writer even if he charges more. At least I will be sure that the work will be of high quality.

    I've seen some experienced seo that doesn't charge that much and that does not mean their work is that bad. I agree with, in most cases, the higher the price, the higher the quality. However, this is not in all cases.

    Luckily I have never had to experience this but it is a shame that your friend has to go through this. Like I mentioned in my post, it is just a lot better to pay a bit more to get a service that you are happy with and don't have to waste any more time perfecting. Why should you pay someone to do a service and then have to do even more work to fix what they did because of the fact that it wasn't good enough?

    In as much as I agree with you on the need to hire a good SEO, I s don't think that every seo that charges cheap is really that bad. Some of these personalities are starting our new and needs to grow their reputation first in that niche.

    I hired more content writers but no more can provide me high quality content.
    So, I will not go with cheap content writers because they can provide me low quality content so it will be a waste of time and money.

    Unfortunately this is a pretty bad vicious circle because it seems like they don't value the chance they got to show their work.

    It's obvious that the devaluation of work by some people is a disintimulating factor, but if it's to do a job poorly done... Why accept to do it in first place?

    I think the real issue is not with the grammar and not with the who writes it. it is the over optimization that hurts a lot of people. And that should be something people need to be really concerned about. I think content writer needs to write how humans write. Human mistakes are reasonable and may not attract the penalty. But adding 10 keywords in one paragraph. That's the thing that may affect the content writing. So people need to understand what is acceptable and what is not acceptable as far as the SEO is concerned.

    The cheap - at least at first sight - can be expensive at the end of the day and give you more headaches than solutions to solve your problems.

    Many people go blind with the cheap possibilities that come their way and they end up changing their feet by the hands. When they realize the error, they try to fix it... But sometimes, there are so many errors that it's difficult to make the way back.

    Well, what if the cheap writer is the one that is most suitable and best for the work, but likes doing the job at a not so expensive price. But the other one that does not know jack, and highs up the price, thereby making you think he is the guru and best suited for the Job, only to get you disappointed. The internet is full of scams and fraudsters. So, you need not hire cheap content SEO writers if you really want to rank high on google and other search engines. Don't be a victim requesting a hire service from someone that never cares about you.

    A writer asks for less money does not mean he is a bad writer. When I was starting out, I used to write 500 words SEO article just for $3. I was not a bad writer. I had already written over 500 articles on newspaper, published over 500 articles on various websites and completed a course on online writing. Getting client was difficult, therefore, I priced my service just $3.
    I think this is a case with many people who are just starting out.

    I sometimes think what really is SEO content writer because I have read in one discussion about writing for your audience and not for SEO. So if you are going to hire an SEO content writer, that clearly means that your content is intended for SEO. Am I right on my assumption? And if that is the case then it means you are not writing for your readers which is a bad idea. Of course the contents are for the audience to read that’s why it is encouraged to include images for better reading.
