How to deal with very innovative ideas?

What is innovative for you?

Have you ever had such an innovative idea that it was considered something out of the ordinary or expected by people (where most of them end up going against it because they are very suspicious of everything that is new to them), but that made sense to you and was worth the effort to develop it?

In case your answer is YES to this question: What was the idea and how did you deal with it?

I tend to have some pretty out of this world ideas to the common person. Most of my ideas have to do with making money online and how I can make the most of it without having to spend 10 hours a day monitoring a single system How to deal with very innovative ideas?

Usually when I have an idea I will bring it to my girlfriend or other close friends and let them know what I plan on doing. Usually I'll get a "Yeah, that sounds good" which basically means "I don't think it will work, but I support you" lol. I'll also get those friends who tell me they don't think it will work, and then they will tell me why. But what they don't know is that I'm using their negativity as a positive because they're telling me what needs to be fixed before I launch to the masses How to deal with very innovative ideas?

One of my friends ripped apart one of my websites, one I wasn't advertising yet, and he basically helped me write down all the things that I wasn't seeing as a consumer. He didn't like this, he didn't like that, the colors were all wrong, blah blah blah. Some of the things I fixed and others I didn't because he was just being dumb lol.

After I launched this website, I told him I was running some PPC ads and he said "You're just going to be wasting your money on ads with that site!". Now I know when starting off I wasn't going to be striking it rich, but I did know what to look for when launching the campaign. The clicks were there and the engagement was good, but the sales weren't rolling in just yet. Again, my friend let me know that he thought I was wasting my time and money. Little did he know that I was building data in order to fine tune my campaign.

Fast forward 6 months and now this website makes me anywhere from $5,500 to $5,000 a month passively lol. If you subtract that amount I pay for advertising, the profits are close to $5,000 or $4,000 a month.

If I let someone get to me with their negativity for my innovative idea, I wouldn't be making a nice passive income. Sure I have to monitor the ad campaign, but that's about it at this point How to deal with very innovative ideas?

Whenever I would have an idea regardless of the type, I would tell people about it and those people are those who are close to me. Of course the first and foremost is my husband who is good in analytical process of ideas. From him I could get a gist if my idea is good or not. Sometimes you think that your innovative idea is perfect until someone comes along to point out the flaw. That happens all the time.

For new / innovative ideas you need to be an optimist because sooner or later, you have to see beyond the crisis to start to see the better times. Optimism and assurance have a tendency to go along. You, as the website or business enterprise owner, must have the ability to make it through hard times while your idea find it's way to success because you understand in your heart and soul that it'll get good results and make your visitors interested in your innovation. So just keep going until you win!

When I completed my university education, I did not want to pursue my career in banking job just like my friends. When I said I want to become a freelance writer, everyone laughed. Becoming a writer and earning a living through writing was a kind of "out of this world" idea in my place. During my first few years of freelance writing, people often asked me "So you write, what do you do exactly?" A couple of years later, people had a different question for me, "Do you actually make money by writing."
When I began internet marketing, it was also out of this world idea. people only knew marketing, they had never heard internet marketing.
I cannot say I have been very successful with what I do, however, I am very satisfied.

I think I have always have innovative ideas right from.high school days. it not as if those things weren't already in existence but the power to add a better angle to it makes it more outstanding. I did a good job with the dramatic and debating club in my school then and I was awarded for it.

like in my freelancing business I try to add innovation to my clients work,I don't really do it how it was stated I try to add better ways to it.

Yes, like they always say, if you build a better mousetrap the world will beat a path to your door. I mean your very innovative idea might simply be the right way to approach something. You might have a method no one has ever thought of before.

Ideas are dime a dozen. You have to make sure you are executing it. Make some list of priorities. And add your ideas one at a time. And then it'd be easier for you to execute them one by one. If you only have the ideas and no execution. Then you are going to have a lot of issues while establishing your business. And for that reason I think it'd be safe to discuss idea with someone who can do it for you. Find such people and start working on it. Ideas alone may not always help out. That's something I have found out.

It's probably best that people don't share their innovative ideas here because someone might be interested in it and then try and do it themselves which will then kind of ruin it for you. I think the best thing to do when you come up with an innovative idea is to write it down because you don't want to forget it. And then try and brainstorm around the idea, come up with things that you can do with that idea. Once you have a plan then you can start to think about whether you want to go through with it or not

Very well said. You remembered something very important, the theft of ideas.

You have to be very careful and patient when it comes to new ideas (especially when they are "different" in the eyes of others) because while you are looking for help, someone may be trying to take advantage of the situation.

Taking note of the ideas and develop the project (almost secretly) is a very correct thing to do. Great thought. How to deal with very innovative ideas?

When I quit my full time to become a freelancer everyone was telling me that I was making a big mistake. Again when I started my online business many people told me that it is not worthwhile as I won't be successful as this market was saturated and there was high competition. I believe in myself and my decisions and that's the reason I ignored those people. Today I work as an online tutor and seller and I earn more than I used to earn in my previous job. To be honest when I first started selling online it was not easy and I had to struggle a lot. Over time I learnt from my mistakes, I began doing more research and I sought guidance from those experienced in the field. Today my online business is quite successful. I am happy that I never listened to those people who were trying to discourage me.

I'm glad that you never bothered to listen to them. I think it is always important to never let anyone bring you down and it's good to hear that you are now doing much better than you were doing before. There are a lot of markets that are extremely saturated but as long as you can do something unique and do a certain thing really well then you can do extremely well no matter what.

Well, I get such innovative ideas, I don't share them with people. Because most of the sleek and amazing innovations you see in the world today are people's ideas, trust me. I was in the Microsoft conference many years ago, when one guy was really emphasizing on this thing. Treat your innovative ideas with respect and honor, because. they don't come often. And when you go whining your mouth, only to get up tomorrow to see your idea already on the market.

What is innovative for me? Something that has never been done before and is completely different from anything that people know. Just something new and unique basically. I don't think that I have ever had such an idea though because I don't spend my time trying to come up with innovative things - I am creative but not to that point. I think that it isn't easy to be truly innovative since we already have so many different things made/done and to be able to come up with a new concept is challenging.

I think using an innovative idea is just smart. We never really know what people will respond to. As the old adage states, Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door.

Some years ago, a friend was asked to think of a way inhelping produce a film. The main issue is the lack of budget. My friend searched for the answer and his suggestion was to seek a grant from a government office. Since no one believed in his idea, he had to do it himself. He prepared a proposal for a grant to produce a full length movie. The proposal indicated all the details of the movie, from the story, script, staff and crew, cast, director, etc. And everyone was surprised when the grant was approved and eventually the movie was produced and finished. Innovation pays but you need to have the passion.

I think passion and innovation is okay, but execution leads to the end of the project. That's what matters when one is dying to make some change in itself. I have seen that people who focus on innovation, often don't execute. So they tend to fall short on things which are a bit harder on that note. That's what I think about being successful.

One thing that I have learnt in life is that whatever I believe in, I try as much as I can to go ahead with it not minding what people have to say about it. I take my innovative ideas into actions and by so doing, others can believe in that.

I think that there is nothing wrong with very innovative ideas as long as you know that not all of them will be successful. It is hard to put ideas out there that everyone is going to gravitate to and be able use in their life. They may not see them in the same way that we do.

Me myself, my ideas have not been innovative. But I do find that the older I get, the more resistant I am or was to innovation. Until I read a tweet by a 90-year-old veteran who served in World War II and realize that he's on Twitter!! (O.o) Then you're ashamed of yourself and realize that should not be so resistant to innovation and change. How to deal with very innovative ideas?

I have had a few, still do. I think people will be open to them and receptive but they will also be very expensive ideas also. So at the end of the day, the way to deal with innovation is if you feel it's worth pursuing in the future. Have a solid plan and get the necessary funding so the idea can become reality, some day.

Innovative ideas are excellent ideas and, thus, must be dealt with wisely. When you have somebody in your own private establishment that brings in such an idea, such a person must be a genius and must be motivated so as to make the most out of his potential. Such people are great assets to establishments and should never be underrated at all lest problems occur in the future. When such innovative ideas are put into practice, it may be the last step to success for the company.

I have one which was innovative at least in the country where I'm at. I had been online long enough to know that the idea works. I myself have tried it with international websites. There wasn't something like that in my country though and I want to be the first one to do that. However, I was a bit slow and I didn't have enough time to work on it and before I knew it, someone else had beaten me to the idea. Well, just part of the idea so that still gives me a chance to offer my own online version. I still have two months to go to come up with my own website offering basically the same thing for free. So yeah, I haven't given up on the idea.

What is innovative to me? Quality new ideas and concept that provide more efficiency for the world we live in. Ideas that may seem radical and/or may be challenged initially, only to be favored in the long run. I like innovative ideas because it revolves around the principles of progression and evolution. Without innovation, a lot of our daily products we use wouldn't be up to their current standard. People who are constantly thinking outside the box and looking towards the future is why innovation exist.

I have had so many innovative ideas but I have just not put them into practice. Maybe because I did not have the push inside me to consider those ideas. We have always been joking about things and I took it lightly when people told me that I should go for it.

The innovative idea I had since I was a kid was plaiting. I use to plait grass at school when I was 9 years old and I would go back at home and try it on my mum's hair. Although I never got any negative criticism from people. I started plaiting myself when I reached 12 and I would also do it in front of my friends. I later on was able to plait people's hair and make money from it. I am now planning to start my own salon in future and make it successful.

I think the issue with the innovative ideas is the execution. If you can execute the ideas properly you can manage that. But if you don't have the innovative ideas properly executed, you are going to have it's own set of the issues. You just have to learn from the same. You can see that innovation has it's own place but execution is what decides where the idea goes from there onwards and how we can deal with it.

The best way to deal with an innovative idea is to find a way to carry it out yourself. You will very rarely find someone who is willing to carry out or support you to carry out the idea. They will either steal the idea from you or shoot it down. I have heard of stories where very major innovations like the mobile money transfer claim to have been stolen. In the news you hear of songs or fashions that have been stolen. If you have a innovative idea, do it yourself.
