I have learned last year that Google Page Rank is used by Google to make it easier to evaluate websites for the composition of the search list. However, there are discussions lately saying that Google Page Rank is not being used anymore and its value is not material to the ranking in the Google’s search list. Maybe Google just doesn’t want to remove the Page Rank for now.
