Is Blogger slow to load for you?

Blogger seems exceptionally slow to load for me. It takes me a long time to add a post and to publish it. Am I the only one this is happening to? There can be at least a 3 or 4 minute delay every time I post on there. I may try another computer. I sent them feedback as well. Is your Blogger slow?

I am a frequent visitor of some pages at Blogger and they seem to load fine for me. I'm not the one who writes the content though, so maybe it is something g to do with that?

Also have you tried with a different network connection? Try to conduct a speed test with your connection as that might also be the culprit.

My blogs are in Blogger and I have the same observation that the loading time is fine in terms of waiting but I cannot say the exact speed because I did not do a bench mark. What is noticeable not only in Blogger also in other sites that when the web page is heavy with images then the loading becomes slower. I think it is the resolution of the images which slows down the displaying of the entire page.

I haven't recently, but I think I may try my chromebook and see if the connection is up to speed on there. It is just one of the things that I am concerned with. I think I probably do need to update my chrome on this computer. It would probably help with the connection to blogger.

Blogger always loads extremely fast for me. I just opened it up now and it loaded in literally under a second. There doesn't seem to be any connection issues whatsoever.

You definitely need to ALWAYS keep your chrome up-to-date. It can easily be the solution to your issues. Or if that doesn't work, perhaps try opening it on a different web browser?

I noticed that Blogger loads a bit slower when the website has adult content or some red flag, but if that's not the game, i don't seem to have any problem Is Blogger slow to load for you?

I am not sure as I stopped using blogger over a year ago. If you want good quality fast blogging use WordPress that is the best platform for blogging and the themes and plugins are just awesome.
Blogger has changed a lot over the years I remember when you use to have as many sites you wanted on blogger now you can only create one that is what I been told anyway.

Yes. It is slow and I don't know why either! When I want to go into my dashboard, I have to use Google Chrome. When I try to use the Firefox browser, it's like everything freezes. I have to shut down the browser. What is even more frustrating is that the "behavior" is inconsistent. Some days the home page and specific blog posts loads just fine. Please let me know if you can figure out what's causing this!

They are javascript based websites. And the AJAX stuff often slows things down. Google chrome is not the issue. And that's some of the things the internet connection is not the issue either. It sounds like more of the issue from their side. It seems like issue from their side. Google releases some cutting edge stuff that often does not go with the speed.

It's slow probably because of your internet connection or the kind of browser. Use very high powerful web browsers.
Thanks

OK. Thank you so much. I was wondering if I was the one causing the problem. But the inconsistency - slow loading and sometimes fast - didn't make sense. There are days when we have problems with our Internet connection. At any rate I've been working on the blog for a few hours and I'm not having any problems.

I don't have a great internet connection, nor has my computer been updated for awhile, so that is probably what is causing the problem. I don't have problems with other sites normally, but Blogger is a sticking point for me. Oh well, Thanks for the feedback!

There is many gadgets and ads contain content that is hosted on another server outside your blog. That content's home on the web can impact the load time of your blog. Try to check that.

Even if your gadget isn't bringing in offsite content, it may still impact your page load time if it's poorly coded, or if it conflicts with other elements on your blog. This is common with custom code added through an HTML/JavaScript gadget.

OK thanks for the feedback. I will try to update chrome and see if that will make a difference. It is not fun having to deal with the constant slowness on the site. It puts a damper on the posting for sure. It is nice to know that there are alternatives. Some of the alternatives are good too.

Blogger is working just fine for me, I think you have a problem with your PC. Have you tried to use another computer? You should try this and if this problem continues to persist than is Blogger fault, but I doubt it. When I load a blog there it uploads very fast, almost instantly. You should check your Internet connection.

It is working fine for me. The problems is probably from your end. Try to update your Google Chrome as suggested by the posters above.. Your Internet connection can also be the cause.

NO. May be there have some browsing trouble on your side. You have to clear your browser cookies, your laptop or desktop cookies and also temporary files and all unnecessary things from your my documents, from your downloads and from desktop. Than try again. Hope it will work fast. Otherwise uninstall the browser and install it.

Thanks

For me today it is loading just fine. You may have to check your DNS setting. Usually google loads lot quicker. And you can reach pretty quickly with it. As you can see there are times when the blogger has its share of issues. But you may have to understand that blogger is accessible for all of us and has decent speed. Check with VPN if required.

I have several blogs on Bloggers but I don't see they are slow to me. Maybe you should check your internet connection because it can be affected to loading speed for each webpage that you are viewing.

Anyway, Blogger is a good blog platform that I liked, beside Wordpress blog.

As I have mentioned, my internet connection and speeds are not the best, but I don't usually have problems with other webpages loading. I am going to try to find blogger on chrome and use that, to see if it makes any difference in the speed. I am guessing it will help.

My internet speed is decent so I do not really find Blogger to be slow. I think it's something to do with your Internet connection. Doing a speedtest might help to see you are getting the proper speeds promised by your ISP.

I had this problem when I was trying to monetize my blog with some affiliate sites.I was told by some that my blogger was slow to load.I think this is true.

A web programmer helped me to rectify the problem and fixed it for me.So I think you could seek for help by the web experts

Perhaps you can run a test on your internet connection just to be sure that the problem is not on your side. But if you find that it is just Blogger that is slow and all other websites are normal in access speed then try using another browser. Sometimes it is the browser that is the cause of the problem. Although this is a different case, there are sites that I couldn’t access using Chrome so I have to switch to Firefox.
