How often do you use Facebook?

Being the largest social media network on the Internet, Facebook has never failed to amaze us on the features it gives. Personally, I use Facebook all the time. It has become one of my go-to for everyday activities - taking pictures and saving them for later use - and sometimes when I want to watch news (from groups and pages).

Most of my family and friends use Facebook and it makes our lives easier because of the sms and call functions. I even have all my photos uploaded to it (in HD of course). How often do you use Facebook?

I would say that I use Facebook daily for several different reasons. My main reasons for using Facebook are to keep up with family and friends who also use Facebook on a daily basis however I have found that even though I still use Facebook on a daily basis, I don't use it as often as I used to throughout the day and that is because many people are using it more for a place to rant about everything over what the actual purpose of Facebook is and that is to share things going on in your life.

Aside from using Facebook for personal reasons I also have a few pages on there for forums I run that I update as well when I use Facebook but again, that only needs to be done once a day so my time on Facebook has dropped to what it used to be a few years ago.

Very awesome and good for you. I always wanted to have a good running page from Facebook but it seems that I'm not having any luck at all. I mean I do have some likes, but by some, I mean a couple of hundreds. :/ And also, I haven't updated it now too so I am not expecting anything from it, anymore. How often do you use Facebook?

Hi, Galeg I use Facebook everyday, when i go or leave work, when i'm in a bus or at the subway, etc. I like to see what my friends do and what are their uploads. I can watch funny videos, news and all what is new in one day, and ofcourse i can post my pictures and share new stuff with my friends.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

True that. It's like everything you need in the social media world can be found in your palm. Lol.

Personally, i don't like it. Never used it and most likely never will. I find a number of people trying to promote themselves or trying to live a life that's not theirs just disgusting. For me, things have to be goal oriented. So if a social media with a purpose is what we look for then LinkedIn suits me just fine. I'm not saying people can't use Facebook to find a job and also not saying everyone that uses Facebook does these things I mentioned but still I'm better off without it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

MariaC
Exactly. Your points are what I hate about facebook. So much fake contents and people promoting fake lives that aren't truth in the real world. Although I use it moderately and one day will be off of that platform for good.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I tried using it last year mostly for job-related questions. I swear I couldn't use it for more than 20 minutes without becoming annoyed. And I didn't even know the people I was dealing with. Just a no go for me.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

galegatling
I respect your opinion. How often do you use Facebook? I guess Facebook is not for everyone. Yes, things have to be goal oriented, I agree to that. It depends on the user if what is his/her purpose in using the platform.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

galegatling
There's more to that actually. Excluding the things that you are disgusted such as 'trying to live a life that's not theirs', Facebook is actually pretty cool. It won't be crowned as the best social media if it's not fulfilling it's goal to connect people and socialize. Not everyone who uses Facebook looks for a job or something. Some people, like me, just want to socialize virtually and in reality.

Anyway, I'm not defending Facebook. I'm just stating my thoughts about your argument. (:
Cheers!

I use it daily but I only check it twice or so per day. I don't really post much on it but I like to keep in touch and contact with my friends, my family and some of my clients.

I don't use Facebook for the conventional ways of simply uploading pictures and telling everybody that I plan to shower soon How often do you use Facebook?

I even have two separate Facebook profiles - one is strictly for my real life friends and family and the other for business purposes. I still prefer Twitter though. There is less attention seeking people on there and better opportunities for freelancers like me.

I use it from time to time to contact people, new and old and also follow pages that I like. It is an excellent source of information to use besides other forms of social media like LinkedIn and Youtube.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

galegatling
It is indeed an excellent source of information. We also can say that Facebook is somehow a substitute to our Televisions regarding news and current events, even faster.

I do tend to login to facebook everyday for about 30 hour to 1 hour. This is only to check on facebook group and pages and share links and ect. I mainly use Google+ these day's as I have more success rating with it. But never the less I do still use Facebook on a daily basis and always will .But like I say you should try Google + as this as some good features and a lot of users and easy to share content on.

Yes indeed. I am also using Google+ but I use it only to share some YouTube links. How often do you use Facebook?

I don't spend much time. I use it to learn from some of the good people. For example I make use of the pages such as gary vaynerchuk and few others. You can spend a lot of time following other people. I think this is one reason I have limited my time on social media. I am looking forward to making some changes for the routine and getting things fixed. I think 2 or so hours on facebook is more than enough.

I use Facebook everyday to update my latest posts online. I do not interact with other there because my purpose is to share my posts URL links. In addition, none of them are the people I know. I have 2 Facebook accounts, one is for social media to bring in external traffic to my posts and the other is my ex school mates but I rarely contact them.

Each and everyday and that too multiple times in a day. Facebook is an extremely user friendly social networking site and I love to visit it very often.

Apart from socializing, it has now become a ocean of informative videos which I love to watch and keep my updated.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

galegatling
Yup. The informative videos is what I like mostly about it. Specially the news and trending ones. Since I don't want to watch the news on the television. So I prefer to watch them on Facebook since they post very fast, sometimes live. How often do you use Facebook?

I don't go on it often, It's become my least favorite. It's come to have so much content and so many features. But I completely understand why people are drawn to it. It certainly keeps people connected and continues to be a relevant social media platform. However, I've been using it less. Now I just go once in a while to contact older friends.

I typically use Facebook every day as well as YouTube. It's probably because it's how I keep updated with my friends nowadays because most of them aren't on any other social media site. At the same time, I use it to keep track of news and what's going on with the world, interactively and not just through text-based actions.

Facebook is now a part of our daily life and today Facebook reached 2 billion users too. I remember I joined Facebook back in 2009 and I do use Facebook like 5 to 6 hours daily, reading memes, liking status and pictures of my friends and also watching videos too. I think Facebook always introduce something new that's why we never get bored with it. They introduced lot of games, useful features, emoticons and stickers, etc. It's good to keep updated with everyone's daily life.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

galegatling
True that. The games part got me hooked too. The stickers as well. Back on the game part, I am currently playing this game which you can access from the messenger, or the chat, the game called Everwing. Almost every night I end up emptying my phone's battery just to get a high score. How often do you use Facebook?

Facebook is a giant in the world of potential leads and to ignore Facebook is like having a goldmine under your house and you walk right over it
everyday. I use Facebook daily to direct traffic to my blogs. I have separate accounts for personal and business purposes.

I was addicted to Facebook back in 20010-2014, I remember doing everything while chatting on Facebook with strangers lol, it was so much fun back then until I met scammers and people who duplicated my profile, I lost my interests in it and start to think that it was a bit dangerous, I removed all my pictures and been careful since then now I use it rarely and never upload my pictures or talk to people I don't know or accept friend requests from stranger.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

galegatling
Sometimes we must be very careful when we try to show informations or pictures about us or our families not just on Facebook itself, but to other social media sites. The number of scammers and hackers have increased potentially. And since then they were able to obtain informations from a certain user. There have been countless of incidents wherein things like these happens. Some people pretend to be you or someone you know, and you know the rest.

I do not use Facebook as often as I used to be. I am not visiting Facebook daily now, sometimes even days. Nowadays I mostly read the information in the groups I subscribed to gain information or knowledge, but this can be quite time consuming, so I don't check out those groups frequently too.

Facebook is about to change everything. The only reason they haven't completely taken over the world is because they are still trying to reach a deal with music publishers. Thats the advantage YouTube holds over FB...temporarily, they've got distribution and publishing deals with the music industry. No artist is like "wow, i realy hope my new song gets a million views on fb video".....not yet

Ariana grande has 17 million subscribers on her youtubeVEVO channel

And the channel has over 7 billion views

Awesome right? Till you think of this:

Ariana has over 100 million instagram followers, and of course fb owns instagram..

Not everyone has a youtube or vevo channel...but EVERYONE has a FB or IG account...so the engagement rate on videos are gonna be incredible, every video will have over a million comments...

The day when Artists are able to release their new videos directly through the FB or IG platform, bypassing YouTube is the day youtube fears.

I open my Facebook account once a day but sometimes when I am too busy, I don't. For posting, I only post pictures when I feel like it or when I have a photo that would be interesting to my friends. My Facebook account is my connection to my circle, particulary those friends and relatives who reside far from here. I only open my account to check on their posts, usually for occasions and there are also times for sad occasions like sickness and death.

I have some friends who are in Facebook all day that I can see the time they are wasting. It's good if they have a business but all they do is wait for a post of their friends that they can comment on. It's really silly to be doing that. But they do.

Once a day. If im in a good mood mayb maximum of 10 times. I don't open my facebook that much because of the fb messenger app. That's the one i need the most because i am working overseas.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Me too. Sometimes I open the messenger on my mobile device only and open the facebook site on my desktop probably once or twice a day. But that happens occasionally though. Messenger is also a great app which can also be used with data as well. How often do you use Facebook?

On the messenger side I use facebook multiple times a day because it's the easiest way for me to keep in touch with a lot of people, and is often more consistent since I can use it on Wifi when my cellular connection isn't working properly. Outside of that, I really don't use regular Facebook anymore unless I'm on a trip and looking to share photos with friends.

Not a fan of Facebook, but is not because of the site itself, or maybe partially. The thing is that I don't know if it's my internet service, but usually it takes a lot to open and run Facebook on my devices. Also, my friends are super annoying, they have made this site their own therapist. So, that means I know exactly when someone broke up with his partner, or if another one is depressed, or if this guy cheated on that girl. So eventually I started to use it less and less. I think is a great site, looks like is going to stay around for a while, is just not my favorite.

Nowadays, I don't get to use Facebook because I am busy with my work.
But when I am not busy, I like going to Facebook and scrolling and liking the posts.
I like Facebook because I can see what are my daughter's thoughts and insights. But primarily, I like seeing her photos because she is far from us, living in a dorm near the hospital where she is having her first-year residency as a doctor.
I like Facebook too, because, through it, I was able to connect with my relatives who work or live abroad. I also get to connect with my batchmates in high school and grade school as well as in college, whom I haven't seen since graduation.
I like it also because of the nice shares about recipes and beautiful pictures and quotes.
I only post though , when I see a beautiful quote or when I have new pictures of occasions I attended.

I use Facebook on a daily basis. I have a page on there where I have advertised about my products so I have to be there to answer to any customer queries or simply to influence them to buy my products. I rely on Facebook to receive my daily news I am following various news channel on there. Another reason why I am on there is to interact with my friends and family.

I am definitely on facebook too much, several times a day, but, to my credit, I use it to support the works of myself and others, especially writers. I also use it to keep in touch with friends who I have scattered all over the country and the world. I use it to promote my blogs and other ventures, and I rarely ever use it just purely for recreational pleasures or activities. In other words, even though I am on there a lot, I'd like to think that it is a productive activity, for the most part.

I use Facebook a few times a week to check on family and then I get off. I can't see how people spend countless hours on there looking at mindless reposts. And that's the one thing I don't understand about facebook. Someone posts something than 100 other people will repost the same thing and sometimes they are on your same friends list. I feel like messaging them can you please come up with something original yourself.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Haha I know that feeling. They are literally doing the "share the word" hype kind of thing. Well it's normal I guess. If they see something they like and they think that their friends haven't seen it yet, they will share it to their timeline so that their friends can also see it. that's because their friends might not follow the same pages or groups.

I visit Facebook on a daily basis. I crosspost all of my video and photo work between Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, so I'm generally on each platform multiple times a day checking notifications and reactions to the work that I post. I find you a common user of Facebook whose pastime is Facebook. Some of my friends who are residing abroad admit that Facebook is their usual companion during their waking hours that their phone was always tuned in to Facebook as if they are waiting for a message or a new post. I cannot say the same for myself because I have better things to do and my Facebook hour is just once a day and twice at the most but for some minutes only because of my hectic schedule even at home.

I also like to post my photos, and then Facebook reminds me of how I was a few years ago. It's pretty cute and convenient, but I think some photos are inappropriate for social media. Especially now, Facebook conveniently directs me to Instagram and hints that all photos can be dumped there. I like that approach. I installed the td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}buy instagram likes app to develop Instagram and use Facebook only for notifications and to share photos with friends and relatives. Although before that, I had no idea that Facebook was just for sales and attracting followers.
