How to make money from your blog without ads

Putting ads on your website is one of the main ways to make money from blogging.  What if I told you that those ads aren't guaranteed to make you any money?  Usually these types of ads, such as adsense, are needed to be clicked by your users, which doesn't happen all the time.  Another reason you might not make money from ads is because you will need an insane amount of traffic to receive enough views or clicks in order to turn a profit.

If you spread out the methods of generating money through your blog, you will have a much better success rate at monitizing your blog for profits.  Below I'm going to go over a few different ways to make money from your blog without posting ads all over the place.

Sell Products on Your Blog:
If you have a blog or website you can always post links to your own products in order to make a profit from each sale.  You can even design t shirts and put them on teespring or something like that in order to get a decent amount of sales and then withdraw your profits later on.

Another way is to brand some products that would be good for people in your niche and offer them to anyone.  If your users love your website they will be more willing to purchase the items How to make money from your blog without ads

Sell Merchandise on Your Blog:
Just like mentioned above, you can sell items that are listed on websites like CafePress.  This allows you to add your logos to hundreds of different items which people can purchase.  This is a great way to make money from your blog because you can price the items at whatever you want, as long as it's above the wholesale price.

Ask for Donations on Your Blog:
When asking for donations, it can't hurt to try lol.  You won't see a whole ton of people donating to your website, but there will definitely be a few if you write up great content and answer questions How to make money from your blog without ads

Guest Posting Services:
A lot of bloggers will do guest posts at not charge to the other websites, but there are some platforms that will actually pay you for your posts.  If you do a simple search on Google for "get paid for guest posting" then you'll likely get a good list of places that will pay you for great content.  Now you'll have to prove yourself prior to getting accepted, and even then, there's no guarantee that your post will get accepted after submission.

Sell Your Own eBook:
If you have gotten yourself to be seen as an authority within your niche, you can likely write up an eBook and sell it to your following.  You can write it up and sell it directly on your own blog.  People will likely share the link to buy the book, which will obviously increase your sales How to make money from your blog without ads

Become a Professional Blogger:
You can actually get noticed by some of the bigger websites within your niche just by blogging on your own site.  You'll have to post amazing content and get people reading every word you type.  You will need to put it out there that you are available for blogging positions and how you can be contacted.  You'd be amazed at how many companies will contact you through your contact us form and want you to be an author on their company blog How to make money from your blog without ads

You can apply for plenty of blogging jobs within your niche and link back to your own blog as an example of your writing.  If you have a blog loaded with great content, you're already ahead of the other people who applied How to make money from your blog without ads

Apply for Different Jobs:
When you blog for a while you will pick up unique skills that can't really be taught.  You will now be able to apply for a variety of jobs that have to do with content, primarily ad copy for websites How to make money from your blog without ads

Become a Consultant to Others:
When you finally become an authority in your niche you will be able to offer consulting to anyone who's willing to pay you.  I've actually done this in the past, but for SEO, and it pays pretty well How to make money from your blog without ads  If you were to do it for blogging you could get paid to teach peopel how to do proper posts, how often to do them, how to optimize them and a whole slew of other tasks How to make money from your blog without ads

Blogging isn't as easy as it sounds and big corporations will hire you to teach their staff how to do proper blogging How to make money from your blog without ads

In Conclusion:
All you have to do is think outside of the box a little bit and it's will become apparent on how easy it is to make money from blogging.  You could take the easy route and post loads of content on your blog then ad some BuySellAds placements on your pages, but that only limits you to how much you can make How to make money from your blog without ads  Strive to be the best and make more money without posting ads How to make money from your blog without ads

First of all, great post! You've provided a lot of alternative ways to make money with a blog without using Adsense or other similar advertising platform. However I'd have to disagree with you in some points.

First is, you said that ads need to be clicked in order for you to get as revenue. That's not necessarily true because there are ads that pay per mile (or pay depending on the number of times the as was viewed without being clicked). These types of ads are mixed with ads that need to be clicked in order to earn revenue.

Second - people will still need to click for you to have revenue of you're going to:
- review a product
- sell merch
- ask for donation

Cheers!

If you don't use affiliate ads and network ads, the only way to make money from your blog is by selling product or services. You can sell various kinds of products, digital or physical. You can sell your ebooks or ebooks written by others for commission. You can also sell photographs. If you have specialized skills, you can sell your skills as well. If you have skills such as graphic designing, programming, you can sell these services.

How do you reconcile selling with your blog if the niche is pets? I am thinking about this blog that I had planned because what if I do not get an Adsense approval then I wouldn’t earn from my blog. The selling of items is a good idea but I don’t think it would fit my blog unless the items I would sell are related to the niche of my blog. Does that mean I get some suppliers of pet products for a drop shipping style of business on my blog?

Razzy thank for providing us information on making money without ads from our blog. We can earn money be selling products on our blog and it is good to sell the products that are relevant to our content. We can sell E-books on our blog. This is a good source of income and we don't have to depend on any third-party service to serve us with their management.

It is very easy to earn money from your blog without ads. Placing ads would not generate enough money for your needs. It would be a great idea to sell products on your blog. You can ask your visitors to donate for you blog to keep it working. You can ask for some registration charges if you have any extra feature with paid membership.

I particularly like the ads on websites because they are easy ways to make some money. However, I try to diversify the sources of gain on my sites.

One of the options I use is the sale of products as an affiliate. I have a virtual store too, so I promote my products from my store on my blog.

Interesting article, well thought out and put together.

When it comes to making money through blogging, monetization through ad space is always the first option that comes to mind. Though like you said, doesn't always guarantee ROI in the long run. This is due to a number of factors involving the ads that are on your blog (geo, type of ad, banner, etc.). Therefore, multiple methods of monetizing on your blog are essential in earning revenue from the content on the blog.

For me, product placement is the easiest means of generating income. Even if it's just simple market affiliation through referencing or recommendation of specific brands through the content I (or others) write on my blog. Donations can also be surprising returns if advised through the proper social media channels.

Hi, Razzle your tips are the best I have ever read on how to make money from our blog without to post any ads. Still, I think we must have a huge trafic to sell anything and to ask for donation. If there is no trafic chances for this to happen are very low.
Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing this informative article with us, you covered all the possible ways of making money from blog!

Enlightening. Those are truly great ways to get visitors on your site and extract something from their pockets without displaying ads. Personally I hate too much ads on a site, it is distracting. And some people make a killing selling contents and offering paid services without putting those annoying ads.

The way I make money off my blog is by doing write ups on certain products. I then put an affiliate marketing link at the end of my review. So far I've managed to make around $150 a week off of one of my blogs.

Wow, these are great tips as usual. I'm glad there are plenty other ways to make money from blogs. I would hate to be a slave to clickers! I may be able to post great content but that is no assurance they'll be willing to click on ads and Google will penalize the blog if I ever attempt to solicit the clicks.

Google Adsense may not exactly be your blog's best friend when it comes to ads. You can also look for sponsorship for certain pages in your website in exchange for having their ads on your page. That would still be ads, I know, but you'll probably get a better rate or terms for your web page than what you'll get from Adsense.

Ads can be harder to convert these days. Not many people click on them. And those who do click on them are not even consistent. So it all comes down to how we are planning to build the ads. I am thinking that it would be possible to convert the ads into revenue. I have seen a lot of sites closing this way. So this must be one hard way to make money these. I am thinking patreon type service based locked subscription can be of option here.

Those are some very good suggestions. I do sell products online but have never thought about selling them on my blog. I want to try and see if it helps increase the traffic.
Writing quality articles with good titles will for sure attract others to your blog. There are some blogs which I keep visiting due to their good contents.

To be honest, my dream in blogging is to be a professional. I have blogger friends who are nearing that status. And as I had posted in another topic, one professional blogger named Mocha is now undersecretary of information and that’s all because of her blogs which caught the attention of the president of the Philippines. And I agree that if you have something to sell in your blog then that’s a pretty good way of earning your keep.

You can sell products as well as services and make money from your blog. I think selling the digital items is easier than selling physical products. You don't have to bother with shipping. You can sell ebooks, photographs, digital art. Another easy way to make money from your blog is by selling service. You can sell services like graphic designing, writing, editing etc.

I have monetized my blogs with adsense and affiliate ads from amazon, commission junction and linkshare. I am not earning a good revenue from my blogs, therefore, I have decided to sell products. I will start with digital products (ebooks for example) and it this works, I will move into physical products.
