Recycled glass bottles used in batteries

Researchers have got a way to improve battery life using recycled glass bottles. They made nanosilicon anodes, an important component of battery. This gives more power with fewer charging for lithium ion batteries. More power means 4 times more energy than battery with the conventional graphite anode.

This is an interesting development. The need for less charging and the higher power ratio are really welcoming features because it would really save time by reducing the waiting period for the battery to be charged. An important concern, however, is if this new development will result in an increase in the cost of the battery.

I think this type of discovery definitely helps our growth. As you can see such bottles can be part of good experiment. I think lot of such bottles can make energy. And people can setup business on top of that. You just have to work on the implementation. I am sure you can find some really good use of such batteries. I have found that you can surely found that too.

This is a really cool concept--any time we can recycle something and improve technology, industry, and culture, it is, of course, a good thing. This makes me curious about the possibilities of plastics and recycling in terms of energy, but I think that using this type of forward thinking with materials, of any sort, is a step forward, of course.

Very interesting advancement in energy saving technique and from recycled glass bottles. This opens up doors to so many possibilities. Eco friendly cars will be more energy efficient and in general lots of things will be more available with longer energy life. This is a breakthrough in modern science and it should be welcomed by all including conventional battery manufacturers who will have to recharge their way of thinking as a result.

It the battery we are discussing here is the smart phone’s battery, that is good for the benefit of the phone addicts. I can see in the youngsters that their phones are in use the whole day and they usually charge their phone while using because admittedly, the phone’s battery lasts for just a few hours of continued use. But my take on the power of the battery is make the phone economical with battery power. It consumes much power that even a strong battery cannot make it last one whole day.
