uTorrent will be built in your browser!

uTorrent is planning a new version of its software that will run directly from your current browser.
Let's face it, most of us here use uTorrent because is the most popular and most effective Bittorrent client out there, I personally have no alternative because I know of no other popular alternative.

So, apparently, the developers of uTorrent are planning this huge change for the application by installing it as a plugin or extension inside your browser. This will result in several benefits like better and newer features but also streaming support, something that uTorrent always had problems with.

What do you think? Are you ready for such a change? I personally think it will be great! One more app I can run from my browser and I don't need to open seperatly, it seems that browser is indeed heading towards offering an OS like experience by integrating more and more apps as well as features.

I can't say I use uTorrent as much as most people do however having it built into your browser sounds like an awesome idea and definitely one that will be welcomed by many. My only concern will be will it make the browser use more resources than it does now? I noticed with the likes of Chrome and Firefox they already use so much and can in some cases cause the browser to crash. Could bringing something like uTorrent to the browsers cause more problems I wonder?

I think that sounds like a good ideal for U torrent, but I see the government cracking down on torrent sites in general, one that I used a lot called Bitsnoop, they are no longer running, and I just got a message from a 3rd party claim for copyrights because of a song that I downloading, so I'm going to lay off the torrent downloads.

I think it'd be surely a good option. I use torrent for my linux. Most of my updates for the linux distro are through new image coming in ISO format. And for this it can be a good option to seed and download from there. Having such torrent through the browser would surely be useful. And I am sure many people want to use that.

That's great news actually, I am a frequent user of utorrentz as I download atleast 3 movies a week, so this new feature is going be very handy not only to me but for all its users,

I don't really use utorrent anymore. Lately it's just full of ads, videos playing in the background out of nowhere, I mean don't get me wrong, it's a great software, but it's just not for me. I now use qbittorrent, it's free and runs just like utorrent does. I haven't noticed any difference in the speed, all I know is that the ads are gone and I can finally download in peace.

Yes there seems to be a lot of ads into the application. And also there are easy to get tracker in it. So your address will be shown. So it's always better to consider how the source of your browser can be leading to more of the issue. I personally think that utorrent is good but the non paid version seems to have too many insecure opening. And for this reason alone I'd not choose to use that app.

It is usually good to have access to such a program as a torrent, but it is also worth remembering that you also need to have access to sites where you can download the necessary torrents. What torrent would you recommend now?
