As an Freelancer what are difficulties you faced?

Hello Everyone,
My name is Babbar86, am an Online Reputation Management Expert.
I have 6 year + experience in this as Freelancer. Difficulties i faced as freelancer is , there are many freelancers who does not know proper role
of job offered by the buyer, but they bid to low and take the work, and deliver nothing end process buyer trust on freelancers goes down.

So many times i need to give some work free of cost first if results comes then they provide me some point of amount to do continue work.

If you also have face some problem as i please share. your experience so we learn from each other and please others stop doing this.

As a freelancer I have come across many typed of diffculties, one of the main difficulties is being able to get people to notice that you are trustworthy. Many people get burned by freelancers who are out to scam people and that worries people all the more about trusting any kind of freelancer. I find that because of that I am having to either show some of my work or give them free samples of my work to prove that I am a trustworthy freelancer and I can do the job they wish for me to do.

This is one problem that freelancers are faced with getting people to trust one and give a good job out.Buyers tend to look for old sellers especially if one is new to the system is never easy to convince buyers that you are good even when they're yet to pay.But the sure bet is not to relent just keep striving because quitters never win.

As a freelancer, the biggest setback, it's the extended competition you get, also there are many scam people as @Shortie861 says that worries the people therefore, the people won't be able to trust you at all.

I work as an online tutor and my job is to teach English to students from many countries. Sometimes I have to interact with people who don't know how to speak English and this becomes very difficult. If it was not for online translator I don't know what I would have done.

In online freelancing, I've found that the most difficult obstacle to overcome is the sheer number of people who are trying to earn money online alongside you. I think this makes it very difficult to get jobs, especially in freelance writing through sites like Freelancer or Upwork. I used to do some transcription and captioning work through some online companies, and while that was a good source of income sometimes, you have to constantly be checking the sites to snag the jobs before they're all taken up. Transcription is by no means a tough job, so there are plenty of people trying to make an income there as well.

I guess exposure in the freelancing world has been difficult too. At least online, that is. When there are so many people out there doing the same thing as you, it's tough to get started and get the reviews and ratings you need to become a frontpage seller like on Fiverr.

The difficulties I faced as a writer is writing for a client and the job gets rejected or cancelled but you get to a site to see that same job being published without our authorship even if you were not paid and you can't do Jack.

people can be this wicked and secondly, not being able to get jobs for 3-4 days.

Just like the new freelancers out there, I also had a hard time looking for a freelance work. I'm looking for simple part time jobs like typing or data entry. Obviously, these jobs are simple compared to other jobs that require more skill like graphic designing, programming, virtual assistant work, and other full time jobs out there. The clients demand a lot for such simple jobs that don't require a lot of skills unlike other tedious jobs. I rarely see available jobs for beginners. The competition is too much for a beginner when there are no clients who would like to give them the chance to gain experience. It's as if beginners have no chance of landing a job.

I came up with the idea of asking people who can refer me instead of spending too much time competing with people and looking for available jobs. I experienced being referred once for an article writing task. I was asked to write an article about spinning tops. They published it in their site. Sadly, the site closed so I looked for freelance sites that allows you to do the work part time, anytime and allows you to work as little or as many as you can. I found a site where you don't need special skills, no complicated requirements, and no competitions. You just have to pass the test then they will approve you. You can work anytime once they approve you. I learned about it from a tutorial I saw in Youtube.

I've experienced having a hard time finding a decent online job that really pays and stable. I've been searching all over to find the suitable online job that would fit into my description and not worrying about not getting paid but unfortunately, still haven't seen one aside from doing the transcription service online. I know that it doesn't pay you well but it's still better than not having one. I guess, I still need to learn new skills that are really in demand in this online industry so I can finally earn enough money that can support my bills.

When I was just exploring the online freelancing world, I have no idea how to proceed as I'm practically the only person in my household or in my extended family to try to make a living out of the internet. I was quite naive in doing searches that I ended up registering with a bunch of PTC sites to make money. It took awhile before I found out about a local freelance writing opportunity for writers in my country. I enjoyed my work at the content mill because I was able to earn and learn at the same time. After almost two years of working as a freelance writer, I found out about a forum where members earn points by discussing ways to earn money online. That's how I found out about other earning opportunities that I can do alongside my business and freelance jobs. Currently, I have a long line of sites that I can use to make money.

The first obstacle in my freelancing is the English. I was not that good in written English but I tried my best to learn and improve my grammar and sentence construction. In the course of my forum posting, I got used to the style of getting straight to the point. And I guess it's a good style of writing since I am receiving praises that my posts have substance.
