Thoughts on Nokia 3310 making a comeback?

I couldn't believe it when I heard that Nokia was bringing back their 3310! I remember having a Nokia 3310 when I was younger and man, that phone was amazing. It wasn't overly big but the battery life on that thing was amazing, you could even drop it and it would survive!

When this Nokia 3310 was announced as coming back I was expecting it to be the usual smartphone with touchscreen and at a huge price, how wrong was I? The Nokia 3310 will be making a comeback just as it was before, with Snake pre-installed and with the touchpad because I mean come on, who doesn't want to go back to texting the old way? I know I would love to! The price tag? Well that is low as well. I remember reading that it would be around £40 when it is released later this year, my first though was "I'm grabbing one as a spare phone and also for nostalgia purposes!

What are your thoughts on the Nokia 3310 making a come back? Did you have one when they were first released? Do you still own yours?

Hello Shortie
Have a wonderful day.

I have experiencevwith previous nokia3310 and about the game of snake. Now they made it new Nokia touch phone and digital game version of snake. Nokia 3310 touch phone have one month battery back up, have 4 colours to choice and classic snake. One month stand by , 2.4 inches digital touch display and have usb facility for data charge. This is a nice step for nokia lover or snake game lovers. Now it is a classic version.

Thanks

I personally am not happy with the price. I think with that price you can get a smartphone. So why would anyone get the new Nokia phone. Not me. I don't see the strong reason for such phone. You can see that some of the shops also not offering it as an option. I think very few people want to buy such type of the phone in near future. That's for sure we have to consider that.

Truth is, my husband is still using the old Nokia that we bought in 2009. He is comfortable with it and he uses that phone for communicating only via texting and calling. For mobile internet, he has a smart phone. With the revival of the old Nokia, the question is this - why buy when you have a smart phone? Unless you are like my husband with his idiosyncrasy over antiquated gadgets, that Nokia phone is not practical anymore.
