Anyone Got any tips for google+

I just started creating few communities on Google+ and groups. I just want to know if anyone got any tips to get members to join them . I am good at gaining followers but nobody seems to want to join my communities as I do feel this would be a great way to gain traffic.
It would be great help just want to see what others would do to gain more members ?

To get members, first make what you do attractive and useful......... if the content is interesting and eye catching you can get more members.
To boost getting members, you can give away awards, prizes or discounts for the first few or hold competitions, this will most probably attract members.
So, wish you all the best...!!!!!

Google+ seems to be the more difficult social media site to gain exposure on I have found. It seems to be that you need to have good content that is eye catching and interesting so bring people in who want to be active in your communities.

Holding competitions is an idea however you would need strict rules when doing any kind of competition on social media to ensure that people do not join just for the competition and then never come back again leaving it unfair for those who do interact and do stay around after the competitions.

It's about being interesting, having unique content that people want to read and also having some fun in the mix as well.

To be honest, I tried maintaining a Google Plus community and it was too much work. The work came from constantly deleting spam postings. I got frustrated and deleted my community. It was easier to be active in other communities that are already well-established with several members. I'm not trying to discourage you. I'm just telling you my experience. Wish for you to have better success than I had.

Great going, just like facebook google plus is also a place where we can find a lot of people , so its a good place to generate some organic traffic to your blog , but before that you must have enough members in your community because when you share a post on a google plus community, not all members watch it , only a small portion of the community view it. So your first step is to build up your community. You can do that in many ways, First of choose a trending subject to make posts with, Individually invite people to your community, If you have a current active member in your community who has got a lot of followers , then make him an admin or a moderator, share your community on social media and also put up a community badge on your blog/website.

Google + has its own loyal followers it ranks I think 5th in the social media rankings with 100 Million inactive and active users. My favorite which is Facebook is still on top with 2 Billion loyal active members, seconded by Instagram with about 800 Million and Twitter is at third place with about 400 Million. So as you can see driving membership traffic to Google + is a bit hard unless offcourse you pay people.

I also would like to know the tricks to Google+. No one seems to know how to successfully use it for marketing. I think that google needs to release a report of these kinds of statistics just the way that pinterest has done. When I look at Google+ it seems to have more of an Asian/Arabic audience. All the products that I see advertised are from that part of the globe. I think that not many people use Google+ or know how to use it.

Here is my tip for Google Plus although this is not good news to users of Google Plus. The site has closed down due to low financial return as explained in a news article. Maybe Google was not satisfied with the progress of Google Plus that it did not turn out well as a social media. There was a mention of 3 minutes for an average time that a user spends in one month. That is very low compared to the other social media network.
